More clickbait shite. Of course the header of the article would state that, but then they contradict themselves from the final paragraph:

It's not really a contradiction. Being 'under threat' doesn't mean it won't happen. But yes, they're probably over-egging the level of 'threat' to generate clicks.

Yeah that's it, the title was a bit OTT.

They probably did it because they wanted to see @SheppyFox's reaction :D

What has football come to? ?

I'm bored with this now, I'm going to stop reading this crap and just take my seat at the first home game of the season and see who turns up on the pitch then I reckon. ?

Look - -it is clear he wants to come here.  I am sure Lcfc will co-operate with the holder of his image rights... I expect that this will be clarified in time by the transfer of money between the various managing companies.  It is not our fight and as his new employer we would be in no different a situation than man city are currently.

I was thinking the same. However, when he bangs in 25 goals a season for the next 2 seasons he will want to have something more rewarding in place.

Don't you just ****ing hate agents?

Let's go back to the old days when clubs used to fleece stupid footballers.

Not sure of the implications but he lost a court case today regarding "image rights", delaying the deal but hopefully problems can be sorted

Image rights? Are they worried about our shade of blue? Or is this an elaborate version of "I know how to use the courts to shaft you. Cough up some money dickheads. My third yacht won't pay for itself"?

They did have news to share, but the OTT title was completely un-necessary and was a blatant attempt to generate more clicks that it would of if they'd of just said what was the truth.

Don't know the intricacies of the deal, but how can a guy be held hostage on image rights on any deal signed before he was an adult? If this is legal than something is really messed up with the system.
