So July and not August, today and not tomorrow....though when does tomorrow become today?

So it could be yesterday?

"Yesterday....our Kelechi seemed so far away. Now it looks as though he's here to stay. Oh, I believe it was yesterday"

Secret deal, just not announced yet. #NITK #HAFC ("Not in the Know", "Hasn't a Fvcking Clue")

not heard he has had a medical,  not yet been to the training ground to have it .

The club won't hesitate in sending the medical staff up to Manchester to sort that. And I'm sure Man City would let them use their facilities too if it moved things along.

Or were you waiting for Shakey to give you a call to let you know his inside leg measurement?

I can see it now...

January 2019 and Leicester are sitting pretty in 5th position, gaining ground fast on the top 4 thanks to goals from local hero "that Keletcheh Innatcho fella"

Man City, in 7th are struggling for goals and decide to activate the clause in Iheanacho's contract allowing him to move for £37.5m instead of the £50M they'd have to pay in the summer.

Without Iheanacho, Leicester fail to score a goal for the remainder of the 2018/19 season. The striker fires Man City to a stunning title victory.

Outraged at the audacity of Guardiola coming crawling back, Kelechi declines a contract from his former club and proceeds to score a hattrick at the Etihad in a top half six-pointer that sends Leicester in to the Champions League places and all but ends Man City's hopes of European football.

The delay is because the marketing team are trying to come up with a really shit way of announcing him on twitter.

I genuinely hope that's true.

Just had a little bit of sick come up! What a grade A cnut he was.

lol I felt sorry for him tbh..if there was a third person commentary of that interview it would read something like "only weak people feel pressure" he protested nervously, his voice trembling and feet shifting as he spoke.

Poor lad

Love the idea that he favours a number 10 type role, as the main issue with partnering a striker with Vardy, is that he likes the free roam of the final 3rd and being the focal point. Okazaki worked well with him, as he fills that space between midfield and attack and having an upgraded version of Okazaki in that role would be ideal for us.

Which means the guys on BBC last know nothing or he doesn't... they said he will not complement Vardy, he's not an Ulloa or Okazaki type...

I am intrigued to see what formations and styles of play Shakespeare goes for next season...

I must admit, when I first heard the link to him, I saw him as very much a no.9 and similar to Vardy with pace and directness, but I did read his quotes about liking the no.10 role and he does seem to be skillful enough to run with the ball and take on players, which would be useful when picking the ball up deeper from our midfield and driving forward. Will have to wait and see I guess but I'd definitely be setting up that way initially, as I still struggle to see Vardy at his best when having to share that focal point role.

Skybet still offering odds and Spurs have clearly received two tenners this morning as they have shortened to 8/1 whereas we have drifted to 1/8.

Money for for old rope apparently as far as sky are concerned !!!

That's actually reassuring when you read it. Sounds like he still wants to come here and hold up is just because various parties working to resolve contract issue rather than because he's considering other offers

Exactly this, it explains why it is taking longer than it should. All is agreed just the image rights to sort out

Exclusive – Iheanacho’s Move To Leicester City Under Threat After Losing Court Case On Image Right Dispute

More clickbait shite. Of course the header of the article would state that, but then they contradict themselves from the final paragraph:

However there are chances that the case will be settled between the parties for the sake of his move to Leicester City to come to pass, Owngoalnigeria.com gathered from sources close to the player.
