Spuds fans do seem to be by and large generally "throbbers"

You have only just got this?  Have you been living in a cupboard under the stairs?

A few prem teams interested in Munir el Haddadi from Barca . Never thought this guy would be available as he has looked awesome for Barca when he has come on.

Would be a great alternative if Spurs pip us to Iheanacho.

So the deal could potentially be £29 million but they can buy him back within the first 4 years for £37.5m?

Unless we get top 4 then it'll be £50 million ?

Further on from this... does the £50mil only apply during our time in the Champions League?

So say for example, we make it in our second year, does that make it £50mil full stop, or does it go back down to £37.5mil if we get knocked out?

The pressure on this boy to succeed is going to be massive based on this thread.

I doubt Kelechi even notices a thing called 'pressure'. He strikes me as a lad who just wants to get on the field and play. And once he's on it, he'll score.

He has a 6th sense that always gets him in the right spot to nick a goal. At least that's the way it seems when I watch him.

Buy backs should be illegal.

If you sell a player then it is what it is.

But thats another thread.

I say this will be announced tomorrow (wednesday) because im not in the know and talking out of my arse

Why should they be illegal? If a buying club doesn't want to agree to the terms of the sale they aren't obliged to buy the player.

I just feel that once you sell a player then thats that. If you want to buy the player back then you pay the market price.

I see where you're coming from but it's a sellers market.

On the other hand, with a buy-back clause, we probably aren't paying the full market value.

Its often hard to value a young player with potential. We're probably paying over the odds for him as he is now. However it could turn out to be a great price we get him for. It's better for football that they let these young players go and try and make it rather than let them rot in the reserves or play in half decent leagues.

"There's no pressure. Only weak people feel pressure."

I agree with you. If it were up to me I'd put a limit on the number of players on loan that a club could have as well. These are all ways in which the big clubs maintain their position over smaller clubs, by gaming the system.
