OllieLodge96 Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 Absolutely buzzing for the fixtures to get released in June. Was just thinking who I would want first game at home and first away game. Hopefully our start this year isn't as challenging as last year. My ideal first home game would be someone like Swansea. A game we should be able to win and get off to a good start. Away from home, either Stoke or Spurs. Stoke tend to start the season poorly and Tottenham will have just moved into Wembley so it may be best to get that away game in early before they find their feet. Was wondering what everybody else's thoughts were
AmarteyAndChill Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 Gotta be Stoke at home, they always start slow.

M0901 Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 I'd take Chelsea away Just to get it out the way, and more importantly both teams will be raring to go so I would have thought it would be a fairly even contest.

Well it will be much more even this year as opposed to last year. We were trash

This must have had some impact on a smallish squad. All except one of City's ten CL games followed an away PL game, the exception was Sevilla at home when the away game at Arsenal was postponed due to the Gunners' FA Cup commitments.
Benguin Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 Tottenham away United home Best to get these done early as Tottenham and United have started slow on several occassions

StanSP Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 Newcastle at home. We'll play Liverpool away on Boxing Day. Brighton at home on the last day.
Suzie the Fox Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 One of the Manchesters at home please. We need to start the season on a high
Fox92 Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 As always, anybody not on a high. So no recently promoted sides and no big clubs. Just a home game against a side like Stoke.
Dan Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 Was gonna say Burnley away but that's only magic when it's late in the season.
Kitchandro Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 I'm hoping we have 19 at home and 19 away and Reading aren't involved
Sammy Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 All I ask for is for Newcastle to fall on a Saturday 3pm that I can get to, that end moving to a corner really excites me for a weekend up there
Jonezy Posted 24 May 2017 Posted 24 May 2017 Want 'easy' home game 1st round so we can get off to a good start hopefully.... Watford or Swans at home for example.
