I've amended my Lewes error (had been a LD seat, but taken by the Tories in 2015, as you say).

As KingGTF has pointed out, I did say "fail to win", not "lose" for the list of big names. I'm actually not sure any of them are currently MPs, are they?

Once parliament is dissolved, even serving MPs become candidates (if reselected), don't they? I'm being pedantic, of course...

There are 650 seats so the majority is the amount over half, 325. If you got 350 seats you'd have a 25 seat majority.
