No doubt we have sent scouts to watch many talented young CBS, including Christopher Jullien,Wesley Hoedt and others mentioned earlier in the summer. So, until an offer has been made and accepted it really means nothing. Shakey has stated his wish to bring in another CB so a scout spotted by a journalist means 2+2=5.

These are the sort of players I want us to sign though but we'll only get players like this if the elite clubs decide not to take the plunge. I'd be happy though with some brilliant up and coming talent like Sarr, Iheanacho, Ndidi, Gray and Chilwell in the squad.
