STUHILL Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Very fortunate to sign him early in the window. I honestly think that if this had been done now or later, his price would have jumped by 10 million. He looks an excellent signing and great to hear that he chose us over Spurs. He is like a better, uglier version of Huth who can actually dribble and pass. Looking good so far but early days
AylestoneRaider Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Let's not decide he's brilliant after two games, only to decide he's useless after a below par performance. Let's just say he's doing well and try and stay level headed! I fear the fans will decide he's brilliant; then create an expectation that he can't live up to (even though it was never realistic in the first place).
murphy Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 We'll see what impact Ihenacheo makes but both seem like great signings to me. To answer the question he and KI look like the best signings since Kante, not much competition though.
Bazly Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Bit of a no brainer question two games into the season, when the other main signings have yet to feature. Unless you count 10 minutes for one with one touch a suitable comparison.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Very early, yet I think he could turn out to be best value for money signing in the Prem! Best signings by far, imo, are Matic and Lukaku not cheap but the 2 signings that will trigger the title returning to Old Trafford I feel.

foxtillidrop Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Great signing - he's only 24 as well so he'll play many games for the club if all goes well
Harry - LCFC Posted 21 August 2017 Posted 21 August 2017 Silly question to ask two games into the season
Guest Posted 23 August 2017 Posted 23 August 2017 I honestly believe that he will continue our run of great CBs. Walsh Elliot Morgan/Huth Magloire.

davieG Posted 27 August 2017 Posted 27 August 2017 Maguire made four interceptions – no player from either side recorded more – completed both of his attempted take-ons, won five aerial duels and retained possession effectively by completing 24 passes at an 83% success rate. SouthStandUpperTier Posted 27 August 2017 Posted 27 August 2017 Don't get too attached guys. It's highly probable this is going to be his one and only season in a Leicester shirt.

Pretty much all ManUtd's main chances in the first half came from a direct result of his mistakes. Wes Morgan would've been slaughtered on here if he'd have put in that first half performance.
Guest Posted 27 August 2017 Posted 27 August 2017 watching Rudiger, Keane, Williams, jagielka and Maguire is far better than all of them.

funkyrobot Posted 5 September 2017 Posted 5 September 2017 Judging by Vardy's interview with LCFC TV after the England match last night, Harry Maguire's nickname is 'tall slab head' ? That's how Vardy refers to him anyway ?
the fox Posted 11 September 2017 Posted 11 September 2017 Still got the footage of the first half of the Chelsea game, saw a lot of good things from him and wes so, if people are interested in another post like the one from the mahrez thread, just let me know
