This must have been in the pipeline well before the surprise news of last weekend. I find it hard to believe we’ve got this all done and dusted in such a short time.

See Guy Porter has retired aged 27 due to issues around concussions 🤕

Just getting into his peak years and a cracking player for us but that last injury took its toll and after discussions with the neurologists he’s probably wisely decided to not renew his contract and end the game.

Good luck to what ever he moves into.

Can’t fault the defence quite a few occasions Exeter were camped on the line only for our defence to hold firm steal or force a mistake.

We didn’t do much in an attacking sense, maybe that’s by design in away games or just still getting used to patterns Cheika wants, hopefully when Pollards back he can pull the

strings with the backs and Montoya the towards.

Saying that probably won’t see them for sometime with the new elite player match limits.

Talk of "away sections for fans " at rugby.

Not sure that will go down well really as rugby is all about sitting together and mixing with the opposition fans.

Yeah, I thought the same.

The media seem to think its a game changer, if anything it would put me off going.

I am not sure home fans would want to make way for a few hundred away fans in the off chance they get sold (never looks great in football seeing a half empty due to a lack of visiting support)

Maybe work more for Internationals?

A\m not sure how it would make a difference to the atmosphere tbh - rugby isn't one for jumping around mass chanting is it anyway?

Both teams weakened by England players unable to play

them more than us

we were comfortable and then made a right mess of the last fifteen mins and almost blew it

Harry Simmons having to retire at the age of 27 due to an eye injury sustained during a game is what makes me so mad with football in that a hand on the back or finger on the face will drop a footballer resulting in a freekick and potential yellow card, it really boils my pee.

In other news Pollard might be on the move in the summer, been nice whilst we had him proper world class player along with Montoya also leaving they are serious boots to fill.

Not sure Shillcock whilst steady has that X factor but really looking forward to seeing Jamie Blamire come in and grow.

European rugby is terrible isn’t it right now? It’s stuck on a nonsense channel and everyone sends second teams to the away games. The Sharks team Tigers played today were total toilet

Seems to be a lot like that in the European rugby I notice

Literally by the look of that view!

They are so exciting to watch this season. Some of their attacking play is absolutely exhilarating. Defensively not so good but they seem to be working under the ethos of it doesn't matter, we'll score more than you whatever chances we give up!

There wouldn’t have been many, if any, French or Irish club teams that would have got much change out of the Bears yesterday, was a day everything clicked :appl:

Tigers did very well to earn, & that’s the right word, a try bonus point because Bears were awesome in defence also, I didn’t think we were going to make it but well done for never giving up on it.
