Come on, we all know the score here, let's not pretend otherwise. We've become so one-dimensional against the 'better teams' it's laughable. We see other teams mixing it up with different formations and trying to take the game to the 'bigger team' - yes, they might still lose but at least there is entertainment value and something different to witness. It also seems like it takes us a million years to actually utilise new signings - we NEVER get new players out on the pitch to improve us. Do they really go out and take it to them? Stoke Beat Arsenal but had 23% possession, they sat back more than we did and soaked up pressure. West ham went to United and had less shots than us and got smashed. Swansea had less shots against united, in fact they didn't get a single one on target. 3 minutes ago, lifted*fox said: It also seems like it takes us a million years to actually utilise new signings - we NEVER get new players out on the pitch to improve us. It's somewhat difficult to play people when they have been injured, Iborra and Nacho have both been injured. Dragovic has only just signed, Silva can't even play. The other signings last year have shown themselves not good enough to even replace anyone in the team with the exception of perhaps Slim, but Shinji has done well so far. Maguire is pretty much the only player who has been an improvement and been fit and he's played every minute hasn't he? 3 minutes ago, lifted*fox said: I literally know exactly what I'm going to see down at the ground already tomorrow - it's not going to be a PL winning David vs. Goliath dragon-slaying spectacle of the past - it's going to be the same players and same old failed approach as described in the previous post. That's what it's like for most teams you know. If it wasn't then those lot wouldn't be miles away from the rest points wise in the top 6.

I appreciate you've taken the effort to counter my points but you should know by now I love a negative post and I personally wouldn't bother taking the time to counter myself. It's mostly tongue in cheek. BUT we will be shit tomorrow and we will lose 0-3 AND Shinji will fall over at least 4 times. x

I'm sorry but Amartey whilst I still think has potential he just doesn't track runners or spot danger and was utterly dreadful against the big teams last year. Far worse than anything James has shown this year. Your hatred of James is beyond laughable.

lifted*fox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 I might do some acid before the game tomorrow, just to liven things up a bit.
Grey Fox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Hazard back for them apparently. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41204604
EnderbyFox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 King or Amartey Like having to choose to marry either Susan Boyle or bloody Ann Widdecombe
AjcW Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Did I miss something in the press conference? What is with all the King or Amartey talk if James and N'didi are fit?

We lost all ability to get the ball quick to our attacking players. Hence the first thing we did in January was get N'Didi in.

It would, if (some) people didn't keep saying how well he played that season.

I suspect not.

Monsell1976 Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Listening to Shakespeare's press conference, I'm just wondering if the new signings will ever be fit enough to play together in the starting 11 Just to add to the James/ king debate, when Iborra is fit, and silva finally signs, both will become somewhat irrelevant, as they will both be cover.
goose2010 Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Actually going to miss this game tomorrow as going to Barcelona tomorrow for the Espanyol game tomorrow night, VERY random and probably a long shot but does any one know of a sports bar that would maybe show the Leicester game?!

the fox Posted 8 September 2017 Posted 8 September 2017 Saw a tweet showing a video of when Williams (the Welsh player) tried to intimidate riyad (in the title winning season) and moments later vardy put Williams on the ground after a duel. I miss that team ?
