Koke Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 We still have a game of football to play. Wonder if Dragovic will start? Or will the same 11 that started at Old Trafford start again? I don't know how I feel about this game.
knitro Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 I expect Drinkwater will have a mixed greeting but only the boos will get mentioned.

If the same 11 start we've lost before the game has even begun. its time to bring in Huth, Dragovic, Iborra, Silvia (if signed), and Ihenacho. We need to abandon this ridiculous two in midfield. Against the likes of Brighton it will work but we need to be flexible and change formation against the better teams. A midfield three of Silva-Ndidi-Iborra is a million times better than just Ndidi and James.
EnglishOxide Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 ------------------------Kasper----------------------- -Simpson----Morgan----Maguire---Fuchs- -----------------Iborra-----Ndidi---------------------- --------------------------Silva-------------------------- -Mahrez--------------Vardy------------------Gray- Oh sweet jesus, just imagine! To tell the truth though we have a lot of options. Nacho, James, Albrighton, Okazaki, Musa, Dragovic, Amartey. We have some serious talent to pick from. If Shakey persists with 442 with the expected lineup of Shinji, etc and still fails to pick up points, albeit against Chelsea then he's going to be under scrutiny for not using the squad right.
StriderHiryu Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Tough one to call. They are a better side than us and now have our two best midfielders (!), but we've looked decent at times this season and are playing at home. I think a narrow away win as we need to bed in some of our players. I think we will play the same team as last time round, although maybe Silva comes in. Regardless I feel like we are going to need 4-5 games to know our best team. We may only have lost one player, but now we have a lot of quality in areas we previously didn't. In theory with Nacho, Silva and Maguire we can me a lot better on the ball, and if Iborra comes into the team it would help even more. Maybe a formation change would bring the best out of our team with the squad we have now? These are good problems to have, but I feel like we will be short against the big boys as a result. Regardless I am excited for the game.
TrentFox Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Bed some faces in, hope for a point, and then we can start the season for real the week after !!

Shakespeare will go with the team that lost vs Man U though. God help us trying to go forward with Shinji when they have Kante.
Monsell1976 Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Iborra and silva a must, if we are to play the tactics like Man U, we need players that can retain and pass a ball. If nacho is fit, and slimani, Okazaki has to stand aside, for the obvious reason, that the other two are better, and we need to be able to hold the ball up, and keep it, when we finally get it.
NewquayFox Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Enter the Dragon..... got to play him from now on with Dirty Harry.... Up the City.....
Kalacs_Orthopedic_Shoe Posted 1 September 2017 Posted 1 September 2017 Keep that William fella quiet and we do this lot; oh and that Hazard bloke and don't let the little one tackle you either...Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

Of course he will score.

Slimani maybe, depending how up to speed Iheanacho is given his lack of summer & subsequent injury niggles
