We need to press them high and get in their faces. We're one of the few teams that can maintain a pressing, aggressive, energetic style but we need to see more of it especially against the big teams.

Without having to look through the whole thread is there any number of how many Chelsea players that have been away on internationals? Not that this will make a big difference. Had Chelsea's European game been a tough one we'd possibly been given a fair advantage. But as it's against FC Ballbag from Azerbaijan, we're sadly going to get the toughest line-up.

 

I hope that lads are fresh and up for it. At least Maguire and Vardy will have plenty in the tank.

Agreed. They will have a point to prove especially now DD is a Chelsea player I can see us picking up all 3points in this one. The atmosphere will be hostile towards Chelsea.

Also can't understand why Morgan is being dropped by some, he was excellent against Man Utd.

I really hope we can pull a result off but seeing as they've nicked 2 of our league winning players and at the moment we've replaced them with ndidi and king and made one upgrade in defence, i can only see this going one way.

Shinji is always dogshit coming off international break. Against a team with Kante in midfield, should we really start a player that just runs around and loses the ball, especially when we will barely touch the ball anyway.

We may not have a team packed full with world class players, but neither do we have obvious flakey players. On their day they are a team that can match anyone, and Chelsea are still finding their feet.

If Vardy's on form we could even nick this 2-1.

I think the 2nd line is about right, I can't see him starting more than 10/15 games in the Prem for them this season, will be used in the cup matches guaranteed.
