The posters that were telling us doubters that all was well, are now noticeable by their absence. Whether or not Silva becomes our player, this should have been concluded prior to DDs transfer.

Spot on regarding the DD transfer out. He should not have been allowed to  leave without Silva being confirmed first.

Fair play to @st albans fox who said Silva would be confirmed on Monday but he is still posting on this thread even though he's had to backtrack somewhat.

Just want to hear the Silva deal confirmed as something keeps telling me that there is a problem. It just doesn't seem to be as straight forward as I should be.

I absolutely agree, still feel there's no need to panic though, we'll be ok :)

Love your positive attitude Sheppy, hope you're right. Bring on Chelsea:scarf:

Its not just me feeling that way then! Won't be happy until this is confirmed as this will be one hell of a signing imo.

A complete f***k up, and reeks of naivety and inexperience. Whether it be Rudkin or his cohorts, this needs sorting before the next transfer window!

It'll be alright lads - calm.

The club are chilled with this one.

Hope you're right Abrasive, I watched a lot of SCP games last season after we missed out on AS, this guy is a class act and an upgrade on DD imo

In abrasive fox I trust, he kept me sane during my darkest days, the days of the iheanacho transfer lol

Worst thing about this is that the only ITK knowledge on this one would come from a FIFA insider, and let's be honest, that's not happening unless we start handing cash out. Just going to have to wait on an announcement, ladies and gents.

9 International Transfer Certificate 1. Players registered at one association may only be registered at a new association once the latter has received an International Transfer Certificate (hereinafter: ITC) from the former association. The ITC shall be issued free of charge without any conditions or time limit. Any provisions to the contrary shall be null and void. The association issuing the ITC shall lodge a copy with FIFA. The administrative procedures for issuing the ITC are contained in Annexe 3, article 8, and Annexe 3a of these regulations.

From the FIFA bible.  So providing the Portiguese FA lodged the ITC within two hour extension period, struggling to see why  FIFA have not cleared him.

It ain't their fault :) Maybe they're avoiding this thread further due to the angry panic some people are exhibiting...

in about 5 years when were in league two we'll look back and say we literally never replaced danny drinkwater

Watch some you tube footage of Silva, this guy is a level above DD imo. Yeah he's not done it in the epl, but he looks pretty good for Portugal as well against top opposition.

It's a good job there has been no major wars involving Britain in our lifetime.

Imagine sharing a trench with some of these posters! I'd end up blowing my own brains out after a few days. So negative and complaining about everything.....

If he signs he signs if not these are still the greatest years ever to be a city fan.

It's been 3 working days and people are acting like it's been weeks lol

Hm mmm.

But had it been faxed at 10.55 we would have known straight away.

So for the sake of 2hrs why is it three working days.

All the other documents need to be in order and on time also.

I'm not saying it's a problem. Just pointing out why people are worried. Also what a fvcking the fa UEFA and FIFA are.
