If we don't get International clearance then surely the transfer isn't valid, therefore we can't send the player out on loan? I'm wondering if the club are waiting till after the international break and confirm it all when hes at the training ground for a photo and holding up the shirt with an interview. Just a thought

Just a thought The transfer is valid, it's a done deal... All that remains to be seen is whether he's available for selection in our next game on 09/09/17 or when the window re-opens 01/01/18

I was just about to post similar... I saw some of the latest posts, panicked and read back expecting some new info on how we'd ballsed the deal up. As it is, everyone is going nuts for no reason.

I am thinking there must be a snag.... but nothing has leaked from fifa to say there is... or not. Its a mess. No other pl club has everbeen trying to establish the validity 5 days after the deadline. If the club had any respect for the fans they would issue a statement to clarify whatever process is going on. I accept they will say they are confident etc... but i think they could explain the process... and perhaps how we came to be in it

Worse... the lack of clear statements by the owners are not helpful ... the rule in a crisis is to control the info and press agenda... i cant believe they have pr advisors who think this is ok

The statements have been clear we are waiting for International Clearance, what more can they say? Hourly updates saying still waiting? We don't conduct our business through the press, we never have done. We all know the situation, we just need to be patient, I know this is an alien concept for some of you younger ones, but those who grew up with Ceefax being the height of instant communication know that you just need to wait these things out.

st albans fox Posted 5 September 2017 Posted 5 September 2017 Things is, literally no one from anywhere apart from LCFC and SCP gives a toss about this being passed through. And no one cares enough to object when it's approved. Silva is in Lisbon today so won't be here until tomorrow - hence no photos today. Maybe they thought it would be unlucky to take photos last Thursday evening holding the shirt before they got the nod from the FA and he had to return to Portugal before that came through.
