Never seen it!

I hadn’t until a few years ago.

I then had to painfully watch them all back to back, as my Father in Law and Borther In Law wanted to go to the cinema to watch one of them.

I was bored to tears and I’d never eaten my popcorn so quickly.

Looking forward to club world cup. Decent teams in it, some of which I've never seen play, and the prize money means they'll be trying.

What is the reasoning for a whole month of Pride? Without going full on GB News I’m genuinely intrigued, what is the history behind this? There are generally days to celebrate something - fathers, mothers, remembrance, valentines, guy fawkes you get the picture.

I discussed this one of my childhood mates who’s happily married with his husband and adopted son - and they said it’s a load of virtue signalling bollocks - so curious how well it’s supported in the gay community?

These days Remembrance Day has become Remembrance Month (and even Year, for the people who have a big poppy on their cars all year). In the case of Pride, like Christmas, Halloween etc., it´s probably a case of getting people to spend more money.

It more to get people frothing at the mouth and nostalgic for ration books air raid shelters and Lancaster bombers so they can vote for reform and get rid of foreigners.

It's basically been hijacked, which is a shame.

The fundamental issue with right wing populism is that the supposed elite that they are rallying against aren't actually the elite at all. In many cases, notably with someone like Farage, they're doing so to protect the interests of the actual elite. Reform spent months twerking for donations from literally the richest man on the earth whilst claiming to be anti-elite.

I don’t think it’s fair to even call Farage much of populist anymore, he seems to have pivoted far more into the centre since the idea of him actually being able to form a government. He’s effectively just leading a thatcher tribute band now so I do struggle to see the appeal these days, especially post brexit, seems a lot of his popularity is based now on him being charismatic and most people being sick of the two party system. I do kinda understand the appeal with Tommy Robinson though

There's too much football atm. Summer was supposed to be NT football not clubs.

No wonder people say they get bored of it, or say it's not like how it used to be.

Tbh I feel the same. These months are supposed to be a couple months break without football. Not to sound like a modern day manager but players play too much now.

And Sky Sports promoting "more games" for next season. I couldn't imagine sitting in front of TV watching two or three games back to back.

I prefer the colder months than summer months.

The real cold months are horrific though. Those months where you have to wear a hat and gloves.

I like the spring months particularly April and May before the summer months ratchet up the temperatures and humidity. Autumn can be OK before the really short days.
