If he has instructed them to play with more expression and the players are ignoring his instructions then why pick them again today (I'm looking at you Henderson), we didn't need the points, leave out the ones who aren't listening if that is the case (I don't think for a second that it is).

Their stadium has a proportionally larger capacity than Wembley per head of population. They only have 2.8m citizens.

I thought we were regressing badly under Hodgson whom the longer he was with us the worse we looked and became less of a unit. Southgate however has managed to make us even more negative and defensive. It doesn't matter who the opposition are it's either two holding midfielders or 5 at the back. 5 at the back away at a dog shit nation like Lithuania? I can barely type it's that baffling. There's also zero movement, Harry Winks was the only bright spark but like Sterling, Ox, Barkley and Alli before him that care free positive play will soon be stripped away from him, it's what we do. That's the first full game I've seen since last season and it was vulgar. It's not as if we have are shocking group of players, the younger mob coming through look mustard but we've got no identity, no plan and are just gripped in fear. The FA have got to relinquish this desire for yes men to be in charge of our country. Get someone who can motivate and put pride in this nation as we're a joke and a very bad one.
