HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 ....how much of a dumbass they sound? it may have been quoted in the Puel thread but I couldn’t be arsed to read it all. last time we had such an underwhelming response to a manager appointment, we won the league. give the guy a chance.
NewEnglandFox Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Says the guy who thinks his opinion is so important it deserves it's own thread....
Fox92 Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 I'm positive about his appointment and I'm usually branded as 'negative'.
psychonaut Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Does it really require a new thread just to call people a dumb ass? Just reapond to those whose opinions you disagree with in the Puel thread.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 25 October 2017 Author Posted 25 October 2017 I couldn’t be bothered to read through about 8 pages of dumbassery. I thought this way I could cover it in one fell swoop. Also, if you felt the thread was aimed in your direction then it probably was. ?

Way to go ahead and jinx it then.
Kitchandro Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 Last time I was this negative about an appointment he ended up being sacked 2 weeks ago. Don't generalise, there were plenty of people who were open-minded about Ranieri. Besides, a lot of the fanbase think he's a joke now anyway.

Dumbassery is not being cockahoop about a manager who has a reputation for boring football? Or is dumbassery just not being wildly positive about everything?

It is aimed at the people trying to jump out the window before a ball is kicked. We could have had Ancelotti, Tuchel, Pellegrini or even SAF but what if they came in and lost all their games. Such expectation to lead to nothing. Nothing is predictable in football so let’s see what he brings.

FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 25 October 2017 Posted 25 October 2017 It's like OP has never been on foxestalk before Near enough everyone is a fickle idiot and crawls out the woodwork when we struggle for a moan, it's a ghost town here where we are doing alright
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 25 October 2017 Author Posted 25 October 2017 Been on for a long time, sometimes post and sometimes don’t. Usually just talk nonsense or play games but this has just made me think how daft some people can be. We haven’t even kicked a ball under him yet and it’s the end of the world. I am the anti Foxes talk as I’m an eternal optimist and will support anyone who is given the job because.....what’s the point of being against them? We all want to win don’t we? I’m sure all new managers do also.

Matt Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 Exactly and this is what I keep telling myself - the last time I was disappointed with a managerial appoint we went and won the league. (Although he did do what I fear would happen when he was appointed the year after) However, that didn’t stop me from feeling uninspired and underwhelmed the moment of Ranieri’s appointment and it’s not going to stop me from feeling uninspired and underwhelmed at this very moment. To add on top of that Rudkin is still employed, one of a panel of three to choose Puel, I really do fear the worst and fear Puel (or anyone who come in for that matter) with find it hard to do their job, not given help and be working with their hands tied.
Redouane Posted 26 October 2017 Posted 26 October 2017 I don't understand these claims that he plays "negative" football, I've seen him in Nice and he plays proper football. Maybe he played negative football in Southampton because he had no decent strikers

Regardless of when and where the figures are all low.

On Forums people don’t give a shit how they sound; it’s a place to vent. Ive been one venting that this is a mistake based on his past performance. None of us know what the future holds but the information we can glean from what’s gone before is all we can use. Whether my opinion turns out to be wrong or not I don’t give a shit; it’s not hard to say you’ve been wrong on a ****ing forum.
