Guest Posted 30 October 2017 Posted 30 October 2017 He hasn't been here for the majority of minutes over the last year. We have adequate replacements available if he makes his move permanent.
Dr Marco Posted 30 October 2017 Posted 30 October 2017 dunno about his fitness...he hardly played a game for Paris first team last year
enmac Posted 2 November 2017 Posted 2 November 2017 Or because like everyone else, Newcastle treated him like shit? Ben Arfa at Newcastle: Interesting comments- most/all blame Pardew.Sent from my Fusion5_108 (16GB) using Tapatalk
mozartfox Posted 2 November 2017 Posted 2 November 2017 Say what you like about him but his brother James version of “Impossible“ was cracking.

He's all round top class. Left foot rocket, Right foot rocket, does not matter. Can you just for a moment contemplate Leicester on the counter with Gray, Mahrez, Ben Arfa and Vardy, I think I need to sit down.

I was sceptical at first when his name came up but how can you not be mesmerised by a player of that ability? Quoted for truth. The last goal on the video (4:28) was on Messi level. That's why I always have a soft spot for this kind of players. Aside from being a handful in the dressing room, he's a bit faster than Mahrez, his technical repertoire is actually bigger and he can shoot. Mahrez has a better vision and is more selfless (for a "ball hogger" that is). Both struggled with consistency though.

Course they have, that's why they're at Leicester and PSG reserves and not Barca on their day, they're both as good as anyone except Messi & Ronaldo.
Poznan34 Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Would rather we played some of the younger players ie. Gray, Chilwell, Barnes than get a player coming towards the end of his career.

Ben Arfa must be on that list, maybe n loan for the rest of the season Can I ask what club you expect to pay 50 million for Mahrez?
Bossman Blessed It Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Should Gray come into prominence over the next 2 months, we'd be able to take a club looking for a panic buy to the cleaners with Mahrez should he still wish to leave. If we're in the top half of the league, still in with a shot of 7th, he may well decide to stay. In any case, Ben Arfa is an impact player and someone worth investing in if his wages aren't too high and the desire is there. He showed that even in a truly dreadful (at the time) team like Newcastle, he does have great qualities. Gets on with Puel too which is a bonus so if he's going for free it's a win win.

ARM1968 Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Rather sign Arfa a decent player or even Arfa Daley

Do you have friends on the inside? Haha, what rant? I was banned once for a harmless joke so definitely no friends on the inside. But genuine apologies if I have ever offended. I think most people know my tongue is usually firmy in my cheek. What I never do, however, is use every occasion, relevant or not, to slate the same player. X

Do you have friends on the inside? Look, when I rant is is pretty much 99% of the time when people start slating players/managers/club unfairly and I react. I am childish, too positive maybe and just don't see that it helps. I never mind constructive criticism but when it seems unnecessary or aimed at one player unreasonably I tend to react. I know it is pathetic to react but this is a forum and everyone is some kind of nobhead version of themselves on here. In real life I am probably about 48% nobhead and on here, about 87% but I feel fairly happy that at least I give players and managers a chance. The only reason I replied to your comment was that you seem to use every single post you can to have a dig at Mahrez. Is he really that bad? Does he really annoy you that much? Am I missing something? If you can explain to me, without bias or hyperbole, why I should join you I will certainly change my mind, I am nothing if not able to admit when I am wrong. I will also join you if you can explain how it helps the club and the players in general? Yes, I know, I hate myself too even reading this back to spellcheck. X

Everyone’s a bigger dick on the internet because you can’t get punched in the face on the internet, however you’d be surprised how people act nicer when they’re on a static IP and the person they’re talking to knows what denial of service is.
Tuna Posted 3 November 2017 Author Posted 3 November 2017 PSG winger Hatem Ben Arfa set for Premier League return with Leicester as boss Claude Puel hints at move: 'I appreciate him as a player and person' Leicester boss Claude Puel is keen on reuniting with Hatem Ben Arfa in January The pair previously worked together at Nice and Puel praised the winger's ability Ben Arfa has struggled for game-time since his move to PSG in 2016 Hatem Ben Arfa could be set for a return to the Premier League, with Leicester seemingly interested in signing the winger in January. The former Newcastle man has fallen out of favour at PSG and new Foxes boss Claude Puel is thought to be ready to make an approach. The pair have previously worked together at Nice two seasons ago and Puel is confident of the winger's ability. According to the Sun, Puel has hinted at a potential swoop in January. He said: 'Hatem is someone I appreciate equally as a player and a person. 'I don't have any concerns about Hatem's form. I have met him from time to time, and we have talked. I even played alongside him in a variety club charity game last month.' However, the French manager is keen to work with the squad he has before taking any sort of gamble in the transfer market. He added: 'For me it's important right now to really get to know my squad, and then I can turn to the transfer window.' Ben Arfa, 30, struggled for fitness towards the end of his Newcastle career but Puel clearly rated his ability during their time together in Ligue 1. Ben Arfa will hope to reignite the good form he had under Puel at Nice after his career has somewhat stagnated at PSG. The forward has made just 23 appearances for the Parisian outfit since his move to the capital in 2016. Puel, however, has enjoyed a good start to his Leicester career, beating Everton 2-0 in his first win at the King Power Stadium. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5046591/PSG-s-Hatem-Ben-Arfa-set-return-Leicester.html#ixzz4xPh9rOY4
