Already linked with Ben Arfa.

According to google translate:

Claude Puel, stationed in Leicester since Wednesday, will he try to poach Hatem Ben Arfa from the PSG this winter?
"He never hid that his use in PSG was not good, and that he would like to work with him well," recalled a friend of the two men on Thursday at RMC.
On the player's side, under contract until 2019 with the Parisian club, it is "a possibility that would interest him" according to one of his friends. The latter states, however, that this is "at the stage of speculation".

On 2 September 2014, Ben Arfa signed for Hull City on a season-long loan.[101] He made his debut on 15 September, replacing fellow debutant Abel Hernández for the final 11 minutes of a 2–2 home draw against West Ham United.[102] In December 2014, however, Ben Arfa unexpectedly left England, with Hull manager Steve Bruce later admitting he did not know where the player was and that his career with Hull appeared to be over.[103]

Sounds like a bit of a fruit loop!

I'd probably pass based on it would only be a short term signing. Not really building for the future as he's 31 in March.

Having said that -if- we are to transition into a different formation and style of play he could perhaps aid that transition.

As an attacking midfielder I could see him as part of a front 3 with mahrez and vardy as previously mentioned or perhaps even as part of a 3 behind the front man in a 4231. Maybe him, Iheanacho and Mahrez with Vardy leading the line. Thats if Mahrez hangs around long enough!

Yup, out of the Taraabt, Ben Arfa & Mahrez, North African frenchie talents over the years we definitely hold the trump card. If he's to improve the squad and he implicitly won't be a bad egg then maybe get him in, if hes an idea of a Mahrez replacement I'd be very concerned. Besides there are talents out there yet to be unearthed with raging fires n their bellies wanting to prove themselves, this guy has been there and lost it.

Not to say Puel is poor at signing players, Southampton picked up Gabbiadini and Boufel under him.

Convinced this will happen. I’ve heard from some people I trust that early talks have already taken place.

We have no need for him but as a loan signing or if Mahrez goes he could be good. He is the most inconsistent player ever but on his day unplayable and capable of the sublime.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s being lined up to get rid of the “boring football” stigma that Puel has.

My only worry is that it puts another player in front of Gray who has impressed me a lot this season. He’s still raw but if we can’t integrate him and Chilwell soon it would be a huge disappointment as both are more than good enough to play in this league

Looks decent lol

Ben Arfa is left footed. Putting him on the left won't do him really good.

Good player but we should be thinking more long term, given he's 31 there's a lot of us on FT calling for the phasing out of our "old brigade" that are around that age. Hardly fits with the much vaunted "youth policy" Puet adopts.

PSG wanna sink Ben Arfa's career, I doubt they'll sell. They can afford to let him rot with the reserves

Makes 0 sense.

He'll come in as a short term Mahrez replacement in Jan when someone pays stupid money for Riyad.

That will make sense but unless Riyad gets the transfer he craves Ben Arfa’s recruitment would appear unnecessary, particularly with Gray wanting more game time.

Ben Arfa is exactly the type of player we have needed for the past season and some.

Opponents double mark Ryad and have figured out that approach to our game. They would have to do the same to Ben Arfa which would create more space for either player to exploit. We cant go relying on ryads magic game after game.

Would love to see Ben Arfa here. He's 31 not a kid really but still got life in him for two three seasons

So explain to me why they stuck him in the reserve squad and refused to transfer him (even though they only have to gain, since they got him for free and they don't need to pay salaries)? Living in Paris, this is the common sentiment of Football fans here

Why would they do that, what has he done to make PSG to act in this way?
