Campaign to boycott Tesco after they feature a Muslim family in Xmas ad.

Seems more like a cheap publicity stunt to me. How hard is it to get a few tweets from your employees complaining about muslims enjoying xmas followed by the public outcry, as shown on here,  thereby gaining free advertising and attracting new customers to your store who are there in a show of solidarity to muslims. Like previously pointed out though, i bet the sales of pigs in blankets don't go up.

I remember a few years ago when some people wanted to call it Winterville instead of Christmas!. sick to death of the pc brigade happy to upset Christians as long as it doesn't upset any other faith or religion. other religions should not be upset that we celebrate Christmas.

You know Christmas is corruption of a pagan festival right?

About 10 years back i wished my then GP a happy Christmas. The guy was a devout muslim who prayed several times a day and his answer to me was "i don't believe in that pagan festival." Made me laugh when he said it.

What a joke;

Christmas as we know it isn't really a christian practice.

If it were goodwill to all men

And even most "christians" are non-practicing.

Perhaps we should just call it a winter holiday or stone the idiots.

I don’t know of a single religion where it’s followers are upset that we celebrate Xmas.

Do you?

Never met anybody who is upset with other people celebrating Christmas, but have met plenty who do not believe in Christmas and do not personally want to celebrate it. Infact some of these absolutely detest Christmas, especially the commercialisation of it, and they come from all different faiths.

Yeah, but as usual, discrimination raised its ugly head.

What were the vegetarians with a gluten allergy supposed to eat with only bread and fish on offer?

Sickening the way these socialist do-gooders carry on, and that Samaritan was as bad as Jesus.

Those blokes who walked by on the other side had the right idea. Should leave it to market forces and not encourage scroungers.

He turned water into wine which is a disgrace imo, water was probably rare and has hydration qualities, wine zaps you of your body's fluids and gives you a nasty headache. He is celebrated for this! Ultimate conman.

Ignorance can be bliss, or Leads to unknowledgable statements.

Islam recognises other profits. Other writing , many other 'scriptures'.

Hindus/muslims would/do  not Look negative towards The day of The birth of christ'

In fact many religous people recognise and dont deny other beliefs prophetss.

All encompass also older pagan celebrations, through and incl u ding  the old nations of Persia and India, not only

European societies.

ReligousLearned and educated people of the past, may of denied the methods and singular  faith claims, but not others prophets,

or has mentioned Other religous  writings.  Ie.  'Old testament'

Many major Cross religion crusades were using followers Stout beliefs, for their own power needs.

Kings/queens governments...Lets look at the modern day terrorists...nothing but hypocritical gangsters

Jesus ..  pronounced 'Hay-sus' ...    actually formed the very first drug cartel in the Middle East ...   this was all chronicled in Chapter 1190 of the Bible but if you look now that chapter has been omitted ...     this eventually spread to the South American continent and Pablo Escobar can trace his ancestry back to him.  His original gang were called 'The disciples' who had a fearful reputation for violence and the Three wise men were his mules who carried the stash in small containers that had things like ...   Frankincense and Myrrh, on the shipping invoice.   He reigned supreme in the underworld for many years until he eventually fell foul of his bitter rival Don Tiberius who, when he finally caught up with him, had him nailed to a cross.    Despite all the wealth that he accumulated he never paid one Shekel in tax and ancient records show his trade listed as 'Out of work jobbing carpenter'.
