Guest Posted 2 December 2017 Posted 2 December 2017 some excellent performances All better than average except maybe Kasper. What has happened to his kicking? and he frightens me when he comes for the ball. well everycross frightens me a little.
UPinCarolina Posted 2 December 2017 Posted 2 December 2017 Mahrez MOTM, for me at least. Harry Maguire also had a tidy match.
Guest ttfn Posted 2 December 2017 Posted 2 December 2017 Schmeichel 6 Simpson 7 Morgan 7 Maguire 7 Chilwell 6 Mahrez 8 Ndidi 6 Iborra 6 Albrighton 7.5 Gray 7.5 Vardy 6
Storming Posted 2 December 2017 Posted 2 December 2017 Good all round performance but as stated above Kaspers kicking and why does he want to punch every cross atm Albrighton MOTM for me another great shift

Koke Posted 2 December 2017 Posted 2 December 2017 Maguire looking better and better under Puel. Handled Chris Wood with ease and his distribution was brilliant yet again.

I think Puel's told him not to hoof it, but it's just made him lose a bit of confidence and become uncertain when kicking out
Adster Posted 3 December 2017 Posted 3 December 2017 Danny Simpson - 11. He was getting into attacking positions?!

I've noticed couple games ago, he seems strangely keen to go forward now and even tries an odd cross once or twice per game...with mixed results (to put it mildly) but hey it's Danny 'Ball Scare' Simpson so I call it progress! Has to be the Puel Effect...
foxfanazer Posted 3 December 2017 Posted 3 December 2017 Kasper 7 Simpson 7 Wes 7 Maguire 8 Chilwell 7 Gray 8 Iborra 7 Ndidi 7 Mahrez 8 hair 3 Albrighton 8 Vardy 7

I would have given him a 7, but have to go for a 6 for his constant punching and poor kicks. Albrighton MotM again.

biggs Posted 5 December 2017 Posted 5 December 2017 Watched the game twice and the limited effort Gray put in was his surge to the goal and getting in position for the shot off the post......other than that, and credit to him, gave us the goal, he was a passenger. It's not difficult to see why he's often on the bench when he hides from the ball so much,...maybe it's the position he wasn't used to.....learning I guess and patience is needed but watching the game the second time around, I wonder a little about him.
Bryn Posted 5 December 2017 Posted 5 December 2017 I think one of the reasons Simpson gets forward more is that with a player in behind Vardy linking the play, Iborra and Ndidi can sit deeper in front of the back four, meaning if Simpson goes forward he's got Ndidi to drop in behind him. With our previous 4-4-2 the centre mids pressed higher up the pitch. When they gave the ball away it was often our flat back four against the oppositions 3 or 4 attackers. Of course, when we won the league, Kante would come out of nowhere and win it back.
