And lots of 'professional' pundits get paid good money for getting them very wrong every week too. Predictions are incredibly hard to, well, predict.

Agreed.  There is an alwful lot of bollocks written on here and may I add (before someone else does) quite a bit from my i-phone.  But if FT was full of intelligent etchings, it would be far less entertaining.
