We have no rivals.

We just have weird, petty fueds with random clubs, was Burnley a few years ago, then Sunderland, then Tottenham (Although I dislike them and still do admittedly), and I think we're currently back with Burnley - That's how it goes on here anyway.

Watford for a while too

Villa are about as relevant to us as Birmingham City are to us. I know Sky try to build up Leicester & West Brom as some sort of local rivalry. If anything, there's more of a friendly vibe between the 2 clubs. I quite like WBA as a club.

We have no rival as such. We are head and shoulders above all all the Midlands clubs. Haven't played most of them in nearly half a decade.

The most reciprocal rivalry is Cov because of the proximity and lack of other rivals but for most of us Forest is the biggest game.

It's reciprocated though. Burnley, Sunderland and Tottenham fans are weirdly obsessed with us and also created a petty feud with us as well.

It's not like those above mentioned fans are a lovely and complimentary to us.

Would people really care that much if Forest, Derby or Cov got the PL and we played them though? Can't say I really care that much about the potential for those games these days.

It used to be Chelsea and they classed us as rivals, I suppose more to with fighting, but like the trouble at matches, it’s has virtually gone, suppose like this rivalry

We played Derby twice last sesson in the cup and nobody here cared. I'm not that bothered about Notts Forest. Nice away end though.

Bit of banter when we beat the likes of Derby, Forest and Cov. But never been a massive rivalry in years!

Mainly because we aren't challenging for same positions. And as people have said, there's no real threat from any club in the midlands.

We live in the moment. And I think we tend to rile some of the bigger clubs up when we play them. Arsenal and Spurs in recent years has been particularly feisty. But no main rival as such.

Another reason we are unique :scarf:

Can't we classify Arsenal and Spurs as rivals? Not as intense as the Manchester or North London Derbies, but still feel like there's a bit of bad blood between the two clubs.

Our games against Villa in recent times have been highly fought encounters, last two home ones in particular - 14/15 one where there was a scrap between James and Ciaran Clarke which got both teams involved, then you've got the 3-2 win which was a huge result in our title winning season where emotions where incredibly high. Its maybe the two squads just dont get along with eachother internally.

You still have to give a mention to Forest, Derby and Cov though; one that's a joke of a club but still had a handle on us in recent encounters, another that we've whipped into complete submission ever since we introduced a certain Yakubu to them, and erm . . . Coventry. Consider Spurs in there now too

Always felt Derby is the bigger game than Forest. There always seems more intensity/rivalry when we play Derby. Plus there's more history with the play off final.

I'd rather have no rivals than have a nonsense, made-up, fabricated rivalry like Palace/Brighton. What's all that about?

They've been rivals for years. Being members of the south division, they met regularly.

So just being in the same division for a bit constitutes a rivalry? Still makes no sense.

Dunno man I wasn't around in the 1920s. Read about it.
