Grow up and get behind Riyad, or: stop listening to the press and wait and see how he reacts on the pitch

Sorry, foxy, but if you were a true Leicester fan instead of someone who just followed Mahrez here, you'd get it, and wouldn't be trying to excuse the inexcusable.

He is one of the 15/16 legendary team but he's no longer a legend.

i'm not excusing anything. he messed up, he messed up big time here.

it's between him and the board. he is yet to say a bad thing about the fans (and he never did)

3 hours ago, the fox said:

like i said before, the club could afford to make it easier for him to get his move (for old times sake). only problem is, riyad is asking for a discount and the owners are asking a lot. what i said before, 75 million for him is fair for both sides

He is under contract to play for us. He hasn't turned up. Why are you defending the guy? Lots of players don't get the move they want, it's not that he's not being paid for the contract that he signed. If he got injured Leicester would still pay him £100K+ a week, they wouldn't not pay him.

3 hours ago, the fox said:

and if it wasn't for him, who's to say that we would've won the league or played in the CL. imo both parties benefited equally, the board took a big gamble on him and he turned out to be a great player.

This is all irrelevant to the situation. He's a Leicester player who has refused to play.

2 hours ago, the fox said:

and that's my point! he wants a discount price of 50 million, the club wants 95 million. just meet up on the middle for 75 million and tell man city "pay up or jog on"

It's the club's right to ask for any amount they want or simply to say he's not for sale. Riyad has no right to tell Leicester what price other teams have to pay.

He doesn't deserve to get back in the team yet. I hope we run with Iheanacho, Silva and Diabaté and bench him.

The Club cannot afford that if the plan is to stay in the PL or even better aim for Europa League.

Thank Goodness, it is not you who decide for the fate of the club! It takes a lot of finesse and politics skills to get us outta this shitty situation.

Welcome Algerian. - I presume that's the case as ALL 15 of your posts since you joined are about Mahrez

You overestimate what Mahrez brings and obviously can't foresee his performance in the future.

I'd take Diabaté, Iheanacho and Silva over him without a problem. They can get us to the europa league.

No, they won't. There is a serious lack of creativity and killer instinct in the side with no mahrez. Diabate is talented but comparing him to a world class player makes you look stupid

yeah it’s going well since mahrez left the team. battered by the most out of form team in the league and couldn’t beat 19th at home. we’ll be in europe in no time!

Yeah, no. Not this season.

I think the european spot is lost anyway. Two points dropped today, plus the defeat against Everton whilst Burnley got a draw against ManCity. We won't make it. Even with him.

Bollox to Mahrez. It may sound strange but I’d rather we don’t win a couple of games than continue to rely on a player who has sulked and made it clear he wants to leave at every possible opportunity.

Leicester City was here before Mahrez and we’ll be here after Mahrez. We aren’t a one man team and someone will step up to the plate after he’s left.

Thanks Pure Blood Midlander and only LCFC-worth supporter!! Thanks for the warm greetings, and the survey of my 15 posts! Your 14933 fluffly posts in here give you certainly an edge is sorting this shitey conundrum!!

Whether you like it or not LCFC is teethless whitout Riyad .. Live with it! It's not my 15 posts that affirm that .. it's the f'ing data ... 3 games without him this season in the PL .. and no win!! Nothing!! Nada!!

I am waiting for Diabate', Silva and Nacho to yet prove you correct!

You, and the so-called self declared only Leicesterians, need to get an iota of realism and face the bitter reality. LCFC without Riyad wouldn't have been Champions and will not, at least in these conditions, be able to reach for anything the 1year ago champion club would expect to dream of.

**** Mahrez. He won't be here after the summer and that's nearly certain.

I see no point in bringing him back into the team for the remaining games.

We should just give game time to a player who wants to be here like Diabate & let him adapt to the premier league in the remaining 12 games!

You obviously haven't watched Leicester play with Mahrez. We've had countless games where we were an absolute shambles with him playing.

Posters like you make me hope that Mahrez goes somewhere else quickly because then you will too. You are not a Leicester supporter you are a playerfan. One of the lowest forms of football fan that exist. I wait for the day you are gone and posting on another forum whinging about why your cry-baby hero isn't getting gametime. Not to worry the transfer after the next will return him to his correct level. Begone.

We wouldn't have been champions without any one of our players from that season. It'll be interesting to see if Mahrez ever wins another trophy after he leaves us.

I’ve said before I don’t expect you to understand. You seem to have a win at all costs mentality. Fortunately, even on FT you appear to be in the minority and peoples principles still seem to matter.

That's what brings you forward. There is no place for emotions or feelings when you manage or own a club. You'd think Puel is happy with this shit and to have to say we'll bring the sulker back with a smile? I bet that if he could, he'd beat him to a pulp. But no, what matters are the results. Results brings fame, money and helps you to develop the club. You have a great asset, you use him as much as you can and as long as he benefits the team. After that you sell it and you move on. No hard feelings.

Yeah right, watch him play as soon as this crap will be bridge under the water. And it will very soon. Will you say then that the owners and Puel have no principles?

I think someone is just offended because he happened to mention Algerian, like it is some sort of far right insult to say it!

honestly, what a shambles of a ****ing situation where you've got **** all decent football teams to follow so you spend your time following individual players instead - to the length that you join up to team forums to defend them like they're your ****ing girlfriend.

go outside and catch some of that sweet Algerian sunshine you ****ing weirdos.
