Grow up and get behind Riyad, or: stop listening to the press and wait and see how he reacts on the pitch

during the negotiations ( ITK, from within mahrez negotiating team )

man city said : we did u a favor in inacho  deal by agreeing to25 m and we do value him more than that   so help us in mahrez deal and we are making him a record history of the  club by bidding 65 m

vichai : VVD 75m and he is a def

mahrez is a poty and champion winner   so pay 80 m

mshrez to vichai : I want to know what is your value for me  what is my price

vichai: for me you don't have any price    and I want to keep u

but since you want a move I sgree on 80 m

Man city   : pull out saying they cannot pay over 65 m

That's the most idiotic load of crap I've read on FT and we've had some really stupid comments on here the past.. congratulations though you have taken the cake.

You are seriously trying to claim you are ITK by suggesting Man City did us a favour on the Nacho fee? They wouldn't do any prem club a favour. They sold him for what they thought was reasonable. Took ages with the buy back and put him back 2 months at least by the delay messing up his pre season and that was doing us a favour?? Yeah right I guess The Man City board are closet Leicester fans?  They sold him because it suited them.

You can't possibly know what was said because you weren't there. And your source even if you have one if that's what he's saying is obviously full of s@@t

Clearly a Mahrez fan and not a Leicester fan. Well the club has been around since 1884. Long before him and will still be around long after he's gone and you have thankfully gone with him along with your BS comments. We've had 2 of the best keepers ever to come out of England. One of the all time greatest English strikers, if not the greatest. And even more recent players like Izzet, Cambiasso (who won more in his career than Mahrez ever could dream of) and Kante. All came and went (most have even came back in the stands to watch us and some are still fans) The club and support have always remained though.

Never in my lifetime has a player done what Mahrez is doing to the club. If you want to support him instead of a team when he is acting like a complete knob then that says it all really. What he's doing is a disgrace and totally selfish. But posting such BS is ridiculous.

Jog on.

I mean, they're right. Like Pablo said, there were other outstanding performers, such as vardy, Kante, but mahrez was and still is the creative heartbeat of the team. The player capable of magic is going to win you titles, that's how football is.

Reading these replies it makes me think how embedded the English "grunt n' tears and hard work" value is in your average supporter. It's really annoying honestly, just stop.

So we're average supporters who are appalled by his disrespectful behaviour then!

I'll shout up to your pedestal and let you know I appreciate all his mercurial talent and what he's been a part of, when he wants his talent is outstanding but no player is bigger than the club ,I don't respect his cvntish behaviour,so it's not about appreciating flair or talent.

Frustrating thing is, he’s not going to be anywhere near the mahrez of before the window, but the last 2 games proves how ordinary we are without him.

He needs to play to get his move, as reported about the owners holding a grudge, they could turn around and say he plays for the u23 until his contract runs out, only lose 350 grand, and his achievements have paid that many times over, and they could just take the hit on wages.

The sensible conclusion would be mahrez stop being an arse, and he goes in the summer.

The bit that worries me is not mahrez leaving, that’s already done, but trusting the recruitment department to be finding a replacement now, good enough to replace mahrez, and sign them early in the window to give them time to bed in, and not sign them on the summer deadline day.

I wouldn't let the twat pull on a Leicester shirt again, he is a fvcking disgrace. The club have done absolutely nothing wrong. Lets see who comes in for him in the summer when he hasn't kicked a ball for three months.

Agree, would rather play players who actually want to play for the club. Should sell him to some absolute sh*thouse of a club so he can rot there.

Supremely talented player, but what a fragile mentality. F**k Mahrez, he deserves every backward step his latest actions have on his career.

It's a shame that a legend has soiled his legacy- handy that we've already got a team of legends out there. F**k Mahrez and his dickhead agents.

Dude, I think Raj is a long time supporter. Look at his post count. It appears you've mistaken him for an Algerian Mahrez fan. lol

I'm thinking ever more that we should let him rot in the reserves until the summer. If he's going anyway, why not start building a team without him now? It'd give his replacements more game time and experience anyway. I'm one of the few of the opinion that we should have sold him. 65m plus a player is still an awful lot of money. But we didn't so we now have to consider where we go from here.

بالتأكيد إذا أراد الله مهريز لمغادرة ليستر كان قد أقنع مان سيتي لزيادة عطاءهم؟ إما أنه لا يهمه أو أنه لا وجود له! حزين.

Haha how original of you.

I think we should just keep naming him in the u23 side. Every time he refuses, fine him a week's wages. Rinse and repeat until the Algerian fans get bored/his contract expires.
