The speculation and fiction will continue until Mahrez ends his pathetic childish strop and explains himself.

A week has passed and he's still sulking in silence? Maybe the club should hire a primary school counsellor to sort this out.

But why the owner and the club don't release an official statement to explain the situation and what happened ?

I don't think that they are blameless in this affair ...

An official statement stating he's in a mard? "Our Ryiad's not happy we didn't sell him. Thank you for your time and good day to you, sirs."

When a player doesn't show up during several days ... the minimum is to explain what happened during this transfer , they have just to give their version of the facts !

I think the owner promised to Mahrez that he can be transferred around 50 m this summer, and asked for more this winter ...

What are they going to say? "Yeah Mahrez is still in a mardy in the airport. And, lads, if you see him tell him we'll pay a cab back to the stadium. Ta." Or "Man City, eh? What a bunch of nobheads." He wanted out. We wanted more money than Man City wanted to give us. He's not been training for a while. He's not in the team. I cannot think of anything a press conference would give us. It's not like we're going to divulge the details of negotiations to encourage the circus.

You say that all this talk of a transfer has affected him and he is not in the right frame of mind at the moment. We have given him permission to take some time off but expect him to report back for training after the Man City game. It might all be bollocks but it takes the pressure off the club and Mahrez people stop talking about it but sets a clear time frame. If Mahrez doesn't report back for training after the Man City game and is refusing to communicate with the club then you sell him down the river as a greedy ungrateful little shit. The problem was the approach we have taken is it seems like bridges were burned immediately and no attempt from either side has been made to reconcile things. The press are free to write as much shit as they want and now Mahrez has already been demonised in the press what benefit is it to him to now honour his contract and play for us again this season.

Mangala is crap and Toure is a corpse.

Idea we would want either of them is laughable.

Midfield pay of James and toure, would be the slowest midfield lol

Please listen and listen carefully as I am sick of saying this to the Mahrez fan boys.

The market has changed since the summer due to some very big money transfers therefore the club now value Mahrez more.

Rhiyad Mahrez has been told he is free to leave providing the clubs valuation of him is met, as of now nobody has met the valuation so he remains a Leicester City player. The football club have done nothing wrong.

Puel's already said he'll welcome him back with a smile. A smile. Not a frown. Not a frowny, frown, frown, frown. But a smile. A beautiful smile. A press conference will just force news headlines. Not even the Daily Star are going to report "WE STILL DON'T KNOW ANYTHING." But they will report "LCFC ADMIT THEY STILL DON'T HAVE MAHREZ BACK." The press feed on vague, pointless press conferences to spin whatever it was they wanted to print in the first place. Leave them with only their imagination and two nonsense stories later they will go back to the hacking into the voicemails of parents.

If the owner made a promise to Mahrez with a specific figure ... he can't change it because of the market , he have to be a man of his words.

I think you can easily understand why Mahrez felt betrayed by him and his actual reaction .

I call bullshit. Yes. We said he'd go for forty million, or whatever, under Shakespeare. But then Ryiad also signed a three year contract about a year ago. Did Shakes agree he could ignore his contract? Was that implicitly understood by a flock of flying unicorns hovering overhead? We're all liars. They're all liars. Someone lying when we know someone else has also lied and then moaning that that person lied and forgetting you also lied leaves me lacking the requisite sympathy that I think some people assume I should have. It's a cesspit of lies. It's got to the point where I'm trying to weight up the various lies, wondering which was the most offensive, to the point where I'm actually looking forwards to watching Gray painfully trying to shoot from an angle which even rugby fans would shy away from.

It would be akin to selling your Porsche and taking a clapped out Duster as part of the deal.

There is clearly a lot to say one way or the other, but all the silence is doing is allowing the press to say what they want. If you believe the press Mahrez has had no contact with the club and is in hiding/on strike and the club can't do anything about it.

I very much doubt that is the case, there will have been some dialogue between the club and Mahrez and something will have been decided. Even if it is for Mahrez to stay away for a few more days before they sit down and talk.

Natalie Jackson says that her sources have told her that efforts are being made by the Club to get Mahrez back into the side and squad.

And you can 100% swear this promise was made with a figure mentioned? I for one wonder if this promise was ever made with a figure mentioned. Only Mahrez has said £50m was the figure.

It's a supposition , can you 100 % swear that the owner haven't made a promise with a figure ?

Untill now neither Mahrez nor the owner talked to the media ... that's why we need their versions of the facts to understand what really happened .

I know for a fact the club said if a big club come in we won't block you from moving - silly thing to say from the club, but they didn't mention a figure.

Mahrez's and his agent's naivety in not thinking there would be a discrepancy on price is frightening.

The truth is, until Sane got injured, they weren't interested.

Mahrez needs to realise that he was go to Man City to play 5-6 games and then sit on a bench unless he played out of his skin in every one of those games.

I concur,

I  also would like to believe that  he  put a sneaky  bid in so RM  couldn't  just rock up and jink twice quick step over and fire 2 top corner.,.....

You have to wonder, I hear pep is one crazy motherfecker

They never said 50 million. It had already been widely reported before the window even opened that was false. Shit the bed.

He wanted to leave the club this summer ... the first thing he and his agent probably made is asking the owner the price for a transfer .

It's not in the club's interest to tell player or agent the 'asking price'. Agents are constantly 'selling' their player - it's how they make money.

Itk at French Football claiming we were in talks with the citizens since at the very least 15 days before deadline-day.

It is said that we were asking for 75M plus one of Yaya Toure or Mangala as part of the deal, but also are accused of delaying the negociations to force the citizens into a deadline panic-buy.

As per usual, take this with a pinch of salt ; but if any of this finds substance....

What a load of Le Bullsh-it  !!

Well we know that price wasn't 50 million. Because like I said. It was widely reported at the end of they year, before the January window opened. That the 50 million quote given out in the summer was "Well below what Leicester value him"
