Iborra - lack of closeness within the squad

Recommended Posts

We've tracked him, we've decided we need his talent, we've beat other suitors, we've paid millions for him and we pay him 10s of thousands a week.

If we can't also make him and his family feel welcome and happy in their new home we've run the race only to fall flat on the finishing line.

It's essential to the club, the squad and our performances. And if he's speaking publicly about his difficulties then someone's not doing their job.

This really shouldn't be beyond our ability as a club. It's not like we've kidnapped him. He did purposely move here.

this is understandabe, for me, in terms of players living away from Leicester. They may have already had their family based there and no need to uproot them. It's easier (and quicker) to get around England from city to city as opposed to Spain?

This is just like saying he wants to go back one day? Not necessarily now...?

Nah mate , players should live within 30 Mins of training ground

team spirit is fostered in men becoming friends and respecting each other

the club need to listen to this lad he makes a lot of sense

Our team spirit took a nose dive when players like Musa and Slimani joined

It's been said quiet a few time on here that Slimani basically didn't talk to anybody other than Mahrez, that can't be good

LOL.

We won the title with people living all over the place. These people see each other daily for hours, sleep in hotels with them at weekends (not that way), eat with them daily at the training ground, sit for hours on planes and coaches, spend weeks in their company during summer tours etc.

It's like suggesting people can't be friends with work colleagues unless they go out for meals with them all the time and their mrs are best friends as well.

It looks like the African/black players have formed their own little crew judging by instagram.

Kelechi seems like the most annoying man on the planet too.

Here we go.

Maybe iborra's comments in away is one of the reasons why we are not playing like a unit. Look at Burnley they seem to have a strong team spirit, where the players seem to link up with each other. Maybe we have players with different cultural attitudes which stops them socially mixing

Burnley hadn’t won for about 10 matches before today.

Could that have been a language issue?

Having just watched the scenes with the whole squad jumping on Mahrez after his brilliant free-kick, to be honest they look anything but disjointed. They looked over the moon and very together.

They've just scored a goal and salvaged a draw at home with the last kick of the game Col. There's hardly a team in the prem who don't look happy and together celebrating an incredible goal.
