Jan 2013 (City 2nd in the table after 5 successive wins):  Pearson = good

Apr 2013 (City apparently blown promotion after 1 win in 11):  Pearson = bad

Apr 2013 (City in playoffs after sensational win at Forest):  Pearson = good

May 2013 (City lose playoff semi to Watford):  Pearson = bad

May 2014 (City stroll to Promotion with a 102 points):  Pearson = good

Mar 2015 (City anchored at bottom of Premier league after only 4 wins):  Pearson = bad

May 2015 (City avoid relegation with the 'great escape'):  Pearson = good

Jul 2016 (City appoint Manager who was rubbish in his last job):  Ranieri = bad

May 2016 (City win the Premier League):  Ranieri = good

Feb 2017 (City in relegation zone and dumped out of FA Cup by 3rd Div Millwall):  Ranieri = bad

Apr 2017 (City effectively safe from relegation):  Shakespeare = good

Oct 2017 (City in trouble again after a poor start to the season):  Shakespeare = bad

Oct 2017 (City appoint manager who was sacked from Southampton and is apparently boring):  Puel = bad

Jan 2018 (City playing some great football and up to 7th in the Premier League):  Puel = good

Mar 2018 (City playing some not so great football and are down to 8th in the Premier League):  Puel = bad

You might ask if people are a bit quick to judge?

We've had such streaky results for years, we're usually on a fantastic winning run or we can't buy a win and look like going down. So a relatively normal season feels a bit mundane which probably explains why some on here are throwing their toys out of the pram despite being 8th and in the FA cup quarter final.

I liked the bit where you described winning the English Premier League as just good.

lol It's rated the same as "Jan 2013 (City 2nd in the table after 5 successive wins)".

Binary options:  yes/no.  in/out.  leave/remain.  offside/onside.   goal/no goal.     good/bad.    :)

I prefer the romantic,imaginitive Options.

I Spent my Working Life with binary, Hex and oct,a tree is a beautifull mathmatical equation,

but ITS the romance and Imagination, that brings the tree to life

Happens with all managers really. Bet Man City fans thought Guardiola was out of his depth last year.

This.

Pep had some baffling moments in his first season and I'm sure some Man City fans thought he wouldn't do it in English football.

Our owners have always made the correct decisions regarding managers, no matter what we think as fans.

Random thought but reckon Prekki somewhere in the world is tryna steal a living fobbing off folk that he "almost" became the Leicester manager that led them to title glory? :whistle:lol
