Yeah brother I think it's Five Points owned? I love their dark beer though, but was amazed how wide their reach is now in London last time I went, the pale or best is a staple in most pubs worth going in. Keen to visit their new taproom down there on Mare St too. What's the Kenton like that way?

Hackney Tap owned by the same lads as Euston/Farringdon/Waterloo/Jackelope I take it? They do an absolute job. Exceptional value for a pint. Me and my old man did the Waterloo gaff and it was £4.20 a pint of Gun Milk Stout. £4.20 in the shadow of the country's busiest railway station, absurd.

Feel like a big FT knees up in the smoke with the regulars of this thread would be exceptional.

Five points owned would make sense lol. Not sure what I think of them tbh but I do like the pub. The Kenton is a great shout!! It’s good fun and very well decorated.

yeh all the taps are owned by the same group, Farringdon and Piccadilly also spring to mind as well as the pelt trader in cannon st. Can’t argue with their quality and pricing.

a big ft knees up with people that know good beer would be class!! My group in London love going to places like be at one in Berkeley square and drinking bottles of peroni then a shit bottle of wine at amazonico,  can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that night lol

Dads just text me saying he’s on his way out to get a Charnwood mini keg.

Excusing his piss poor planning as that should have been bought ahead of time and should have already been sat outside already for at least 24 hours, I’m excited.

Got some very interesting looking beers at Maxi Grosik on blackbird road, thanks to stadt for the recommendation. We stopped at the blackbird for a pint of Stella which was horrid and a jägerbomb. Just had a dark stout at the blue boar which was superb

Stuck to Estrella (Feliz Navidad, apologies I don't know the Catalan equivalent) and later Camden Hells this afternoon. Wasn't in the right places for pun-based Christmas ales. Expect better of myself frankly.

I went to stable Ales in Melbourne and got some festive beers in for tonight onwards.

Just cracked a bottle of ABK Festbier and it is ****ing lovely.

Merry Christmas indeed

Nordbrau Eisbock, good beer but dumb choice to have something so heavy straight after a massive Xmas eve feast. Had a bottle of Moinette Ambree earlier, probably the best Belgian beer I'd never previously had.

Stella was the original festive beer wasn’t it tbf. Still a fine drop too (even though it’s constantly ****ed about with)

Decent selection of hoppy beers from Santa. Got a couple of barrel-aged stouts too so it’s bound to get a little out of hand when I tuck into these

Nice. I’m currently drinking a deya/beak DIPA. Merry Christmas all beer lovers.

Deya's Tappy Pils was one of the guest beers in Braybrooke's subscription and I enjoyed it. I have an aversion to a lot of canned craft stuff as I had a rancid Mikeller can when I was about 19 and it put me off, maybe I should just grow up a bit
