Nah, the Maddison sale is still integral for us this summer. I can't remember the exact reason but basically there's a big hole in our finances. Something to do with legacy contracts or something like that, I don't think anyone fully understands. But essentially if we get £22-25m for Maddison a fair amount of that money will be used to fill that hole. The sale of Murphy and the £11m we get from it will be put back into the club to make signings of our own. It may mean we're not in quite as much of a rush maybe to sell him, but unfortunately we do need to let him go at some point this window. It does sound as if Everton are preparing a bid, so if they outbid you then obviously we'll be much more inclined to take that deal. Until that happens though it still seems to be a case of you're waiting for Mahrez to be moved on before going all out in this deal. Fwiw, I'd much rather he go to Leicester than Everton.
