The issue is he would have worked perfectly in the team that won the league for us.

 

Teams have been more defensive against us, and I'm not sure if he has the ability to break down those sort of teams.

Fair enough, thought he got the assist in the spurs game rather than the goal. Remember him against someone sticking in 10 odd crosses that only UFS had a chance of getting on the end of, then hitting slim perfectly next time round. 

 

Change that to one more goal in this tournament for as many world cup goals as he has for us. How do we never see this player?

Maybe we could sell him to Hoffenheim for £30m and then every time they win and we lose, we can moan consistently about how life could have been.
