What a team, what a unit. Godin, Gimenez in the back four, assisted by a surprisingly solid Caceres, a makeshift left-back in Laxalt, huge respect for their central midfield with Vecino, Nandez and Torreira. And Suarez works very hard, helping out in midfield also. Add to that his and Cavani's creative input, and we're onto a winner.

 

Would love to see them in the final.

Uruguay are the team I fear the most (from and England point of view) as I just think they are so good defensively and like you say with a decent midfield and creative players up front 

 

that said I definitely want them to beat France I mean nobody wants France to win surely?

 

apart from perhaps the French maybe? Mind you even they will be throwing the towel in at the earliest opportunity

If france click like they did the other day they will play Uruguay off the park.  Mbappe is a hell of a player, and any team with Kante in the middle is always in with a shout.

Uruguay are the better team despite the French arguably having the better players. I think that may prove decisive.

Probably the single biggest factor in determining the outcome of this match is which Paul Pogba gets out of bed tomorrow morning. If he's on his game, that French midfield is terrifying. If he's going to rock up and stroll around midfield committing niggly fouls and spraying aimless glory balls to no-one in particular, not even Ngolo will be able to fight off that Uruguayan midfield on his own.

I will always loathe Suarez for a variety of reasons and that French defence would be a lot easier to break down for England in a potential final IMO...so I'm hoping France do the business in this one.

Speaking only for myself it's not really France love such as more dislike for Uruguay in general and Suarez in particular and thinking that France would be easier for England further down the line.

Can see this going all the way. Uruguay will bring the shithousery like Colombia but can play football a bit too. Definitely going to be some controversy at some point in the game.
