Amazed that the Shed is still going given the mass closure of gig venues in towns and cities all over the place. Really pleased to see it. 

 

I remember playing there about 2004-5, was never the most active of venues but was always a great place for local bands to get some live experience.

Good insight into the scene.

 

Decent that and good to hear an outsider view from someone that's settled here, that Creme Bearlee beer he mentions is top tier in all.

 

 

That bit about the "what's on" writer from (assumedly) the Mercury mind, **** me that's grim. Cast iron guarantee they only go to arena gigs. Why be in that job if you've no interest in actually doing stuff? No wonder the paper's on its arse.
