Inter are after Modric, so it looks like Mario may well be on the way out

Modric to Inter to play with Perisic and Brozovic, Mario to Leicester to play with Ricardo and Adrien? :fc:

Primarily a CM isn't he? If not we've got Maddison and Shinji for the role in behind Vardy, isn't really room for him anywhere unless we ship out Shinji or at least 2 CM's lol

Also this could be yet another hint that we may be playing a “diamond” formation without wingers this season

would explain why we haven’t bought a winger and why gray has been training in a more central role

decent player but not what we need, we are stacked with midfielders, even tho he can play on the wing, i think we should be looking for a more natural winger

He’s not a centre midfielder

im sure he is buddy, he plays there for inter and he did for west ham last season, he usually plays behind the striker in a number 10 roll

This is the first time we've been linked with the same player as West Ham and Everton all day.

It's clearly a newspaper in joke.

Another player were linked with alongside West Ham and Everton. lol

It makes sense, at least.

Aside from Burnley (who don't tend to splash the cash) we pretty comfortably make up the top half of the prem outside the 'big 6'. All three have similar ambition, current status, and financial clout so we'll all be after a similar stature of player. Makes it super easy for any reporter to double/treble the clicks on their article by mentioning any of the other 3 alongside.

Guarantee we've actually been interested in far less than half of all the rumours we've been mentioned in alongside those two.

Are we though ?? Don't think King or Okazaki have much of a future here under CP, whilst it seems that, in James and Mendy, we have two who apparently attract injury. That really doesn't leave us particularly well served. It's been documented that we're supposedly looking at adding one more and, personally, I'd take Joao Mario ahead of Sturaro !!

id take him over stuaro as well, i just dont think we need another midfielder at this point in in time

Would definitely fit our system given his high work rate and is comfortable on the wing. Wouldn't actually be bad if we had someone to do a wide and an AM role given we've no real alternatives for maddision aside form okazkai and iheanacho.

He was very good for West Ham all things considered and there was a really impressive interview with him in the Guardian during last season. Seemed to enjoy playing in England
