General Smuts Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 Following the Wolves model of going all Portuguese. 2
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 He did alright at West Ham on loan so wouldn’t say no
sphericalfox Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 I thought he was linked before? Sure I seen a thread.
Marmite Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 Another player were linked with alongside West Ham and Everton.
YesNdidi Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 Inter are after Modric, so it looks like Mario may well be on the way out Modric to Inter to play with Perisic and Brozovic, Mario to Leicester to play with Ricardo and Adrien?
EnderbyFox Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 (edited) Primarily a CM isn't he? If not we've got Maddison and Shinji for the role in behind Vardy, isn't really room for him anywhere unless we ship out Shinji or at least 2 CM's Edited 1 August 2018 by EnderbyFox
YesNdidi Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 Also this could be yet another hint that we may be playing a “diamond” formation without wingers this season would explain why we haven’t bought a winger and why gray has been training in a more central role 2
Grebfromgrebland Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 I don't think shinji will get much game time this season 1

Choppalcfc Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 decent player but not what we need, we are stacked with midfielders, even tho he can play on the wing, i think we should be looking for a more natural winger

Popular Post urban.spaceman Posted 1 August 2018 Popular Post Posted 1 August 2018 This is the first time we've been linked with the same player as West Ham and Everton all day. 5

Aside from Burnley (who don't tend to splash the cash) we pretty comfortably make up the top half of the prem outside the 'big 6'. All three have similar ambition, current status, and financial clout so we'll all be after a similar stature of player. Makes it super easy for any reporter to double/treble the clicks on their article by mentioning any of the other 3 alongside. Guarantee we've actually been interested in far less than half of all the rumours we've been mentioned in alongside those two.
Fox92 Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 I liked him at this years World Cup for Portugal. And plays wide.

Don't think King or Okazaki have much of a future here under CP, whilst it seems that, in James and Mendy, we have two who apparently attract injury. That really doesn't leave us particularly well served. It's been documented that we're supposedly looking at adding one more and, personally, I'd take Joao Mario ahead of Sturaro !! id take him over stuaro as well, i just dont think we need another midfielder at this point in in time
Forward thinking Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 He will definitely leave inter now they have signed Naingolan, Vidal and potentially Modric. Can't see him coming here If I'm honest....especially for the 25 million price tag.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 Would definitely fit our system given his high work rate and is comfortable on the wing. Wouldn't actually be bad if we had someone to do a wide and an AM role given we've no real alternatives for maddision aside form okazkai and iheanacho.
CosbehFox Posted 1 August 2018 Posted 1 August 2018 He was very good for West Ham all things considered and there was a really impressive interview with him in the Guardian during last season. Seemed to enjoy playing in England
