In most work environments it’s a sacking offence He could have gone when he was caught throttling his ex as well. Good fullback but like with most clubs that have new managers with new ideas, he doesn't fit. It happens. Cant keep him forever cus the title win. 2

That’s exactly how you get relegated , standing still while everyone else is moving forward .

We've moved forward by signing a first choice RB in Pereira. I still think Simpson had plenty to offer as a backup RB if he wanted to stay. 1

Backs to the wall protecting a point or a lead, Pereira goes off injured... for me it's Simpson over Amartey every time. 3

He's done it before. Maybe. End of the day though Amartey is young and can still develop, whereas Simpson is probably on the downward slope now unfortunately. Wish him the best but the squad needs freshening up now. Edited 8 August 2018 by nwl fox 1

Yes your right we need to be flexible but Simpson looks to be in a massive decline as well as not suiting how we currently play . He’s been awesome for us butv it’s time to go Edited 8 August 2018 by baldeagle
davieG Posted 9 August 2018 Posted 9 August 2018 HITC are reporting that Walsall are set to sign Leicester City Under 23 striker Josh Gordon on loan. The 23-year-old joined Leicester from Northern Premier Division side Stafford Rangers in April 2017, after impressing on trial at the King Power Stadium. Gordon was a regular for Leicester’s Under-23 side last season, scoring six goals in 27 games in Premier League 2, but he has yet to break into Claude Puel’s first-team plans. Gordon can also play wide left as well as upfront so will add cover on the wing should the Saddlers suffer any injury problems with Kieron Morris, Josh Ginnelly or Zeli Ismail. Manager Dean Keates said he was hopeful of signing one or two players before today’s window shuts with the Saddlers in need of reinforcements in central midfield.
st albans fox Posted 9 August 2018 Posted 9 August 2018 looks to me that most of our outgoings are going to be championship loans (slim could be sold abroad I suppose (and mendy loaned to a French club)) too late now for sales not leaked anywhere to be done pre 5pm

We can't rely on James due to his injury history. Will be N'didi, Silva, Iborra, Choudary and Mendy IMO. James to be loaned to the championship again and King off too.

I thought he played well in preseason when given a chance although you cannot gauge much from that I guess... just surprised.

Bit on the fence here but not really sure that he would have made the grade to be honest 1
