The Turk pick of the crop first half.  Great debut so far. X

You’re watching a different match to me. Our whole defence is scary. I’ll concede that the Turk has been better than Maguire though. He’s been fookin awful

We're a supposedly possession based team that can't pass a fuching football. That was utterly dreadful to watch.

We still got to turn this one round, but you are right. I think if we do get beat tonight he'll still get a couple more games.

Unless we are in real relegation danger, the trigger will not be pulled by the owners. Puel will get to the end of the season as a minimum as the owners see that his project is transitioning the team and the club into a stable PL setup with and ethos to focus on youth etc.

WH could go past us in the table next week, at least it'll be almost two weeks for Burnley to glide past the free-fall Leicester City.

I often find that the game that is broadcast in Australia is different to the one everyone else sees :(

I look forward to you all eating your words when we win 3-1

Playing a weakened West Ham, I expected better.  So far I'm impressed with the Hammers, we don't look like a team but a bunch of missfits

Saying that we could have easily been equal

Amartey looks nervous don't know what it is, surely we should be playing Ricardo in place of him

The Turk has looked very good, Maquire I dunno seems a bit slow also better passing from Nididi … don't know why Albrighton is playing, Ghezzal blows hot and cold

Shocking 30 mins either side of first 5 and sending off. Ghezzal £20m + and one flick apart looks lightweight and flat footed. Inhenacho useless on his own, midfield utterly devoid of attacking intent. Not one defender moved between first header and the goal. Sorry Puel your time is up for watching over this squad of players be so poor week in week out.

Even if we do it would only be papering over cracks!

And in France.

We started like a house on fire and have played some good and not so good football.

Certainly not the same as being reported here.

Jeez you are getting the FoxesForum disease; no doubt we'll get put out of the cup by Southampton too

The Turk looks a bit better than the Brits and the Ghanaian in defence. The Spaniard hasn't seen much ball and the Nigerian gets caught offside. The Algerian delays his passes too long.

Average first half.

Usual comical defending.

I was expecting a yellow for Noble, just seemed late, after seeing challange again deserved red.

I never have understood in open play why we decide to get the ball out to the wings and cross, we have not had any joy of it for years now, and don’t play with a 6 foot 2 Striker. (And when we do, we don’t cross)

I have kept my eye on Ndidi for the last 2/3 games and it’s shocking how poor he is in possession & his short passing is extremely average. After last season he looks to be struggling.

Puel needs to get 2 up top now and go for it as WH will sit back.

Unfortunately at the moment Maddison aside we have (and have had for a couple of seasons now) an extremely defensive central midfield with little to no creativity and no goal threat.

We look a tad disjointed with the changes to the “usual” first 11 and it’s showing at times, hopefully Puel and the players can turn this around
