I hesitate to post this but......nothing.  I have two children both of whom are finding it tough financially and I've made it clear that I don't want them to waste their money spending presents on me.

 

I'm not down or depressed - I have a reasonable level of health for my age and that's the best Christmas present I could have.  I also have the memories of Christmas past when the children were small and it was an exciting time for them so I have no regrets.  I don't have to have material gifts to feel loved or happy.

Depending on the occasion, I ordered an automatic dress watch originally and then ordered a half price chronograph last night. If I ever attend any formal sporting events i’ll have it covered.

My wife got me a custom made snow-globe with a photo of me and a music artist I met this year inside it. I've been a bit obsessed with his music (78 hours this year on Spotify, lol) so it's hilarious as you'd expect her to put a photo of me and her inside it, haha. 

 

Back to bed I think, can't imagine much will top that today now lolz

A tofu making kit. 

A hand-carved olive wood back scratcher. 

And a selection of books (all from my Amazon book list).

Just got in from my sisters and the dogs have broken out of the living room and into the kitchen... somehow the ravanous one hasn’t eaten any of the food that was out.

A pot of olives and a packet of chocolate buttons, which is more than I was expecting.

First present daughter's ever bought me, I think - and all her own idea, she reckons. Growing up...

 

Just managed to hang the new curtains that she requested as one of her main gifts, without ripping plaster out of the wall or falling off the ladder and breaking my skull.....a triumphant DIY performance by my standards.

Off to do the cooking now....
