MC Prussian Posted 23 August 2019 Posted 23 August 2019 The Leisure Society have an album out since April and I've only just heard of it.
MadKaw Posted 23 August 2019 Posted 23 August 2019 Don't like all of Slipknots stuff - but this album is pretty good.. Especially for those angry days, like when we lose.. :-)
danny2997 Posted 28 August 2019 Posted 28 August 2019 Been out for a few months now but I'm still quite enjoying Rammstein's new album. This song gets stuck in my head a lot:
Stadt Posted 30 August 2019 Posted 30 August 2019 Serge’s album The S.L.P came out earlier. Interesting enough but I can’t say I really love it

Interesting enough but I can’t say I really love it I'd agree the whole album isn't going to stay long in the memory but there's definitely a few on there that I rate above anything Kasabian have churned out over any of their output post-2009 with Tom Meighan crooning on about nonsense.
Kopic Posted 5 September 2019 Posted 5 September 2019 Man, I'm so ****ing ready for the new Bombay bicycle club album.
Guest Posted 7 September 2019 Posted 7 September 2019 Some new Prog from 2019 for those inclined: Don't think it's as good as earlier stuff but the new "this winter machine" is out and they are playing LEICESTER tonight I think: Grice: The Emerald dawn Some Bowie in this voice: Debut album: Another noob: This an Indian quartet with a japanese themed album about the Johatsu A bit crazy - space rock influenced: If you like Ozric Tentacles: Microtonal Prog: Canadian: I have a soft spot for psychedelic prog: Cosmic Jazz - I think Two oldies come together: Led Zep meets Porcupine tree? Lighter but supossedly meaningful: Supergroup makes Environmental awareness album:

ScouseFox Posted 19 September 2019 Posted 19 September 2019 mercury prize tonight, some banging nominees. i'm sure someone a bit weird will win it like always, though.
ScouseFox Posted 19 September 2019 Posted 19 September 2019 worthy winner for me. would've gone slowthai myself but dave's album is very good and very "on point" at the moment, without being quite as not very PC as some of the others.

And a Leicester connection... Did Dave actually spend some time studying at DMU? Or did he just miss all of the lectures like he references on the album??
purpleronnie Posted 20 September 2019 Posted 20 September 2019 Is it safe here? I have enjoyed recent songs by Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Just needed to tell someone. It's the first step.
