He looked genuinely gutted yesterday and squarely pointed the finger at the players, particularly the experienced players, for not keeping calm after the last equaliser yesterday.

Knew his brother growing up, they could never get to grips with fans singing Bruno at him (understandable really).

crisp packet Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 Played with and against him as kids . He is a Liverpool fan ...

Hanan96 Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 I tought Emile were some female fans name, turn out to be that striker I'm used to recognise him as Heskey.

car1os Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 The players should share the blame for individual errors and being in the wrong position, but when Wolves scored their fourth (as well as almost scoring 2 mins before that) both full backs were pushed up the pitch and Morgan & Evans were on the halfway line. That instruction comes from the Manager. I get the feeling poor Claude is feeling the pressure and thought only a win would appease the fans, if he wanted to he could have told the defenders/central midfielders to sit back and go on the counter.
David Hankey Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 It's a great pity we haven't got the likes of Emile up front now.

Possibly,or they could think they know better, which his reaction suggests so, having seen Claude close up in some games his frustration seems to be wearing with some players as there not doing as he instructs, again the book will lye with him but I do sympathies with him to an extent

I'm still annoyed with them for ruining my weekend. After such a great effort to get level twice, that defeat was yet again self-inflicted and unnecessary.

blueharmie Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 I never understand the jokes about him being a donkey. He was qaulity in the day , strong on the ball, got goals and set them up. He was in his prime for us. That Nacho could learn alot from him as he is a real donkey. Anyway, we sang Bruno as he was an absolute power house who you couldnt **** with perhaps? Anyway, the players are part to blame but the main problems is the manager.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 He's employed part time by the club as an ambassador so is hardly likely to say any different.
mozartfox Posted 20 January 2019 Posted 20 January 2019 Puel let down at Newport and let down yesterday. Morgan and Simpson head the list of players that are past their sell by date. Thank God we have so much talent coming through. There is light at the end of the Tunnel so life will get better.

I agree but the concern should be why he keeps picking them and changing line ups.

For me atm it's sticking with players that doesn't deserve to start / don't seem to be dropped regardless of performance. Also changing line ups is frustrating, I've never liked it regardless of the manager, because how can you build a relationship?

Its not good that we dont know what the manager's favoured 11 is really. But that could be a reflection of the squad deficiencies also I know that there are one or two who deserve dropping atm i agree. Mendy for me as good as he was at the start of the season has cost us too many points recently As far as our CBs go, Evans isnt always fit, Soy not quite ready. Feel like we'll be better off in that position next season than we move on from Morgan

I remember hid Dad Tyrone running the doors at the nightclubs, a real nasty bast@rd, he would give you a shoeing if you looked at him the wrong way!

With Morgan, Puel is the 3rd manager that picks him regardless of form. It will remain a mystery. Every other team will rest or drop their captain more often if they were 34 and made running look like the hardest thing ever.

I'm very critical of Puel but to be honest the players are a disgrace as well. Those two were out in London less than 36 hours before the game yesterday. Whether that is normal or not i dont care. It shouldnt happen as professional sportsmen.
