I'm very critical of Puel but to be honest the players are a disgrace as well. Those two were out in London less than 36 hours before the game yesterday. Whether that is normal or not i dont care. It shouldnt happen as professional sportsmen.

Pretty disgraceful. Shows a lack of shits given by those two. Hopefully we dont do the stupid thing and give them new contracts.

You’re right, but it’s easy to forget that he had his fair share of critics when he played. Fell over a lot for a big man, if I recall....

Being a legend doesn't mean you become a sage on all thing related to football, just listen to the crap that comes out of Linekers gob.

For me atm it's sticking with players that doesn't deserve to start / don't seem to be dropped regardless of performance. Also changing line ups is frustrating, I've never liked it regardless of the manager, because how can you build a relationship?

How does anyone know that he isn't trying his best to placate specific members of the team and to try to keep a level of harmony, but pitchside he's let down either by their limitations or personal motivations?

Remember watching Emile breaking through into the first team

We knew he was going to be something special.

Had a sometimes iffy first touch but on his game was unplayable.

60% of those are opinion not facts. Even some of the actual facts are without context. Yeah, you shouldn't have bothered.

That is odd. Do you mean as in out in the evening?

People are free to do what they like outside of working hours of course, but that does seem really odd so close to a game - especially since it's one that doesn't require you to be down in that neck of the woods ahead of time.

To be honest if Puel was sacked in a matter of weeks Emile would be saying "he was never really right for the club, the style of football didn't suit the players, players must have got confused"... it's very rare for ex players to criticise current managers.

There you go then! Guess I shouldn't have an opinion. Always wrong, eh

PUEL IS GOD.

You're perfectly free to have an opinion but what you did was try to present your opinions as facts and then chucked your toys out the pram when challenged

Nobody said that. But expect it to be challenged and don't get so precious about it.

Not always, but usually.

Not really the thread for it, but I'm not really sure what to do about Morgan and Simpson. At times this season they've been a liability, but at others they've been pivotal in getting us good results. Morgan was poor at the start of the season from what I can remember, but then until recently was playing pretty well...

Likewise, Simpson didn't get a look in, came in and reminded us of how solid he could be...now he's not ?‍♂️.

I do think Pereira upping his game at right back has affected the latter though. Him and Albrighton overlapping seems like the best balance. Problem is then that we don't get to see enough of Pereira's attacking ability then...

And people wonder why managing this team is a nightmare

?

ON TOPIC: Emile is a legend, you know he loves the club. He's proved it more than once without ever needing to.

Read it again. ALL my points are FACTS - but I am not prepared to argue as I am Heartilly sick of the holier-than- thou attitude of the Puel apologists who will argue black is white and will blindly heap praise on a man who is NOT right for our wonderful club, and who is taking it downhill at a rate of knots.

There are many times in my lifetime that blowing Europe would have been itself an excellent season.

HALF your points are FACTS- alienating 60% of fans, boring, sideways football, failed to formulate a Plan B and blown the chance of Europe, again are all opinions.

We have in Okazaki, the next best thing.  Emile also specialised in falling over for no reason.

That's very convenient for me because I'm not prepared to argue with someone who doesn't know what a fact is and can only put their views across using straw men. He'll be gone soon anyway and then our wonderful club can go back to playing swashbuckling football and challenging for Europe every season, just like we always did before his arrival.

It is long past time to place the blame where it belongs -- at the feet of the players. They got Claudio fired. They got Shakey fired. They are going to get Claude fired. Same thing happens every time -- they start playing like crap, the manager goes, they suddenly play hard.

Let's try something different this time. If they need someone important to be fired in order to play hard, who leads the clubhouse? Morgan? Vardy? Whomever it is, we're in a transfer window, make sure we have a replacement on in place then ship them the F out. Let's try firing an important player this time instead of the manager, see if we can get a reaction. Let's bring in some veteran leadership that can help set the bloody tone in training and when the games start, because this is well past ridiculous.

Not that Claude should escape scrutiny, starting Simpson was a disaster, especially when we have plenty of alternatives to Ricardo up front. The inclusion of Barnes may solve some attacking issues, but let's not kid ourselves, we still have two huge remaining problems: (1) the lack of a DM with an eye for getting the ball forward quickly to initiate the attack, and (2) a center forward who is good at coming back to the ball and playing in other attacking players. Vardy is a good solution in the 433, but not the 4231, no matter what your sentimental yearnings tell you, and Iheanacho is obviously not the answer.

It’s worth noting that he is an ambassador of the club, he is paid to represent us in Asia I believe.

He he could hardly come out and slate him.

Loved Emile as a Leicester player, but he really is a worthless pundit. I know that most of them are, but he offers nothing of interest and has a terribly awkward delivery. Give me Matt Elliott any day.
