Trying desperately not to binge but I'm half way through Yeah, I've watched the first 4 episodes so far. It's a pretty good watch with some interesting behind the scenes stuff. They've tried to over dramatise some things which is understandable, but it is great to get in the mood for the new season!
Brainy Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Bit underwhelmed, basically a Red Bull story so far 4 episodes in

Brainy Posted 11 March 2019 Posted 11 March 2019 Well they seem to have episode 4 and 5 the wrong way around anyway or maybe any sort of order wasn't their intention. Swear they touched on Hungary/Spa in 4 and Silverstone 5
The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 They go back and forth depending on who they're talking about, felt a bit sorry for Grosjean afterwards the doc basically makes sure every crash is micro analysed but his result in Austria is just glossed over
The Bear Posted 12 March 2019 Posted 12 March 2019 Only up to Ep5 but plenty of needle between Horner and Abitabou!
Ian W LCFC Posted 13 March 2019 Posted 13 March 2019 Finished it all now. Was pretty good I thought and would be a great way to get new fans into the sport! However, there is no way to watch it on free to air TV which is a massive shame! Was definitely a little harsh on Grosjean but he did have a pretty poor season compared to KMag
jammie82uk Posted 14 March 2019 Posted 14 March 2019 Unbelievable news coming from Melbourne RIP Charlie Charlie Whiting: F1 race director dies aged 66 on eve of season-opener in Melbourne http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/47564762

That's shocking. Only 66 as well. RIP.
Jimothy Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 Completely forgot about qualifying. Mercedes front row, Vettel third. Gasly looks he's has a mare in the Red Bull out in Q1 with Verstappen 4th. Renault both out in Q2. Good result for Norris in 8th.
Ian W LCFC Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 Mercedes unbelievably fast, 7 tenths up on Ferrari! Red Bull made a massive error in not sending Gasly out for another run in Q1 when the track was evolving so much @Facecloth McLaren looking quick and a fantastic effort from Norris, surprised to see him doing so well so quickly, would've been interesting to see how Sainz would've compared if he didn't have to slow down due to Kubica's off at the end of his lap in Q1. Gotta feel a bit for Ricciardo, seems like Renault are slower than McLaren!
fuchsntf Posted 16 March 2019 Posted 16 March 2019 Can . Verstappen step up...if. red Bull give him a competitive car...?? Hamilton is just driving for fun....others have to knock him off the perch.. Who's got the balls, who's got the car & team..!!
Beliall Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 OMG what the **** was i thinking , getting up at this time

Ian W LCFC Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 How fragile was that front wing?! Gotta feel for Ric
Ian W LCFC Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Fair play to Bottas, he was an animal today. Ferrari were awful, using team orders for 4th place too!
LcFc_Smiv Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Mercedes still have far too much dominance, Ferrari just don't look competitive, Max's car seemed to only challenge when Hamilton felt his car wasn't operating to full capacity. Really hope there's more to come from these challenging teams or else Mercedes 1 & 2 doesn't make for great competition.
Brainy Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 In fairness it was the same last year, they only won here through pure fluke. Wouldn't be surprised to see them on pole or win at Bahrain
PhillippaT Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Well, the midfield battle looks really tight this season - shame Giovinazzi kept his train running so long to split them up Anyways, I'm going back to bed
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Red Bull must be regretting letting Ric go, he would have made a few last ditch dives down the inside that Gasly didn't have the balls or knowledge to do it, costing him and the team points.
Nick Posted 17 March 2019 Posted 17 March 2019 Really disappointing GP. Nothing really changed after the first corner again. One may as well watch the first lap then fast forward to the end. They desperately need to find a way of overcoming cars not being able to overtake in the dirty air of cars in front to prevent the post first corner procession. Fair play to Bottas and Verstappen the rest of it, meh.
