I'd never followed Pochettino's career in management but Southampton pulled him out from Spain. We've got to do something like that. Sacking a manager doesn't change too much, the people that bring managers in here should go to because they keep getting it wrong.
Mike Oxlong Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Thank goodness No more qualitee and intensitee posts

But no let's not take that chance we give him another game then sack him two days before our next game. Some planning for the future by the people at the top Ffs. This. We always seem to sack managers as a reaction without any clear plan.
Wolfox Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 First Team Coaches Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler, supported by the Club’s established backroom staff, will assume responsibility for the senior squad while the Club begins the process of appointing a new manager.
HybridFox Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 has to be Big Nige till the end of the season!! Surely! The only man who would unite us for a final push this season. Then reassess in the summer

But Southampton also signed Manuel Pellegrino, there's no guarantee that a foreign manager could come in and improve us.

AjcW Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 That’s the first time I’ve seen us announce a sacking with no outpouring of love or even a comment from a single director. Says a lot for how bad it had become towards the end there.

True. I just don't think there's anybody in Britain realistically worth looking at. I've always liked Howe, good attacking football, but what's the point in leaving a safe job to come here.

Guest Col city fan Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Ain’t gonna lie, I’m over the fookin moon with this news. Now we must get the right appointment for the football club. This won’t be at all popular, but I’d have no qualms about getting Sean Dyche in. The players need a complete shake up and he’d stand no bollox from any of them.
Jonezy Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 Puel had the right ideas, but he just didn't seem to get it across to his players. That home form and run of results is just not good enough and that fall back to the manager. Hopefully we can find someone, who can actually manage to motivate this bunch of pretty decent footballers Puel has collected to perform at their best.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 For the record there is absolutely no way Eddie Howe will leave Bournemouth, so 100% park that idea.
Foxofbarrow Posted 24 February 2019 Posted 24 February 2019 I can’t believe you could still get 5/2 on this last night ?
