Stevosevic Posted 19 March 2019 Posted 19 March 2019 Hi everyone. I am trying to get a signed piece as a gift for someone and I have found this seller on eBay. They also appear to have their own website with items for many clubs but in particular Leicester. http://crickfoxfootballmemorabilia.co.uk/index.php Has anybody on here bought from them before or can recommend that the items are legitimate signatures? Thanks Stevo

Wymsey Posted 19 March 2019 Posted 19 March 2019 Don't want to seem doubtful about the authenticity of some of the items of that website, but have a feeling some of the signatures aren't actually signed by the footballers themself. - Anyhow, with the much-talk on managers seems to be about Pearson, Ranieri and now Rodgers nowadays - feel this guy needs a home somewhere for a foxes fan who appreciates his commitment in being an LCFC during a quite sticky patch for tghe club. Any takers, anyone?

Thanks Stevo Had some dealings with the guy many years ago and he was legit back then. I've also seen him getting signatures after games. However, the only way you can be 100% sure a signature is genuine if you see the person actually putting pen to paper. Hope this helps.
everton carr Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Yes he's legit used to see him down the traning ground with Kev French all the time a few years ago
Illusion35 Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 I bought a signed photo of Maddison from this seller for my son at Christmas and think it is legitimate. Communicated with the seller about it and compared the signature with other things he’s def signed e.g. signed boots on his social media etc.

Thanks Stevo I'm not sure what sort of thing you're hoping to get signed or by who, but I do recommend icons.com as a legit way of buying signed merchandise. Admittedly they only seem to have Vardy and Maguire signed merch from a Leicester point of view, but some of the Vardy stuff in particular is heavily discounted at the moment. eg. £49.99 for a signed and framed Vardy England photo: https://www.icons.com/pre-framed-jamie-vardy-official-england-signed-card-and-photo-frame-goal-vs-wales.html As I say, might be of no interest to the OP, but thought it was worth mentioning as it is a lot cheaper than the same sort of items for sale in the club shop!
everton carr Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Leicester autographs are that easy to get after games don't know why anyone would need to forge them tbh

Nalis Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 Hope at some stage to get an authentic signed 2015/16 shirt signed by the squad at the time for my (at the moment) pretend mancave. How much do you reckon that would set me back and does anyone else have anything similar?

mozartfox Posted 20 March 2019 Posted 20 March 2019 I got a signed picture of Junior Lewis together with Peter Taylor's wife's ugly best Friend.
Stevosevic Posted 20 March 2019 Author Posted 20 March 2019 Does anyone know if I send something to the training ground would they arrange for one player to sign it for me? I don't live in Leicester and I know back in the day they would do things like this but we're pretty big time now so I'm not sure....

I remember buying the first 'Of Fossils & Foxes' as a pressie for my brothers 21st. Took it into Filbo reception & asked if there was any chance of the players signing it. Might take a couple of days the friendly lady replied & I left it with her. 2 days later, went back in to find 18 players signatures in the book including all the then current 1st team. Doubt that could happen now.

I got my shirt signed when it got near the end of that season when I started to think we could actually win the league! Ebay they are on for up to £500 but you cant say if they are real or not. That's the problem with anything you haven't got signed yourself.
