TJB-fox Posted 9 April 2019 Posted 9 April 2019 Thanks for the post hopefully our multi million pound scouting team might see it and go there...I’m sure they’ve got it covered mate. Even if we don’t have scouts there we’ll have indirect delegates all over the world.

Eden De Bruyne Posted 29 April 2019 Author Posted 29 April 2019 Leandro Trossard (LW) is completely tearing it up now in the Belgian League, and is securing the Belgian League title for RC Genk: Scored the 1-0 against the big competitor Club Bruges 2 weeks ago (3-1 win). Assisted the 0-1 against Standard De Liege and scored the 0-3 one week ago (1-3 win). To put Standard out of the title race. And saturday he scored the only goal against AA Gent (0-1). Genk is almost sure to grab the title now. Arsenal and Wolfsburg are heavily targeting Trossard and he wants to go to Wolfsburg to make sure he is a starter. He wants to finalise his transfer before he leaves on holiday and Genk agrees.

leuven Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 the best prospect in the belgian league at the moment. Probably going to Wolfsburg.
Eden De Bruyne Posted 29 April 2019 Author Posted 29 April 2019 People here told Leicester needs a LW. This is an ideal LW to bring Leicester higher up the ranks . Not as good as De Bruyne f.ex., but one class below that level imo. So still an extremely good player. And because he plays in Belgium, 25M will be enough. It's not like you have to pay 60M for Neres or Bergwijn who are lesser players than him.
frany104 Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 Sell Gray and buy this lad. He looks a real talent.

Suppose showreels aren't going to show off the ball and other elements of his game, but at this point I'm slightly underwhelmed.

Trossard is really Mahrez level. Not the best in the world, but a great EPL player talentwise. You don't have to buy Trossard ofcourse. Then he will be the best Wolfsburg player next season, and leave in 2 years for 70M. Which is also fine for me ;). I just think Leicester is a better club than Wolfsburg and it would be fireworks if Trossard and Tielemans end up playing in the same team.
matty98 Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 Doesn't really seem very impressive to me based on his stats. Barely any of his goals or assists this season are against the better teams in the league and lower half Belgian teams must be about lower championship standard at best. Also it doesn't seem like he's done anything before this season. Unless it's a minimal fee I'd rather we looked elsewhere.

He's delivering Genk the title against the best teams now at this very moment. Last year he had a great year against the best teams, now he was injured for a few weeks when Genk played the best teams in the regular league. But again. Don't buy him then, but just remember his name to kick yourself in the head in 2 years
Eden De Bruyne Posted 29 April 2019 Author Posted 29 April 2019 It's always a minimal fee. For 25M it can work, and the chance he will be worth 75M in 2 years time is very high. But if you rather buy Bergwijn or Neres for 60M, be my guest :p

There weren't that many of the magic moments in that posted showreel that were Mahrez class, don't even try to be serious. Doesn't mean he won't eventually in the right team, but I don't think we're likely to go for him if you already believe Wolfsburg have him in the bag.

With all the top players that played in Belgium the last 15 years, it's easier to know what his talent means on a world wide scale. But no problem mate. We agree to disagree ;). Just remember his name.
Ric Flair Posted 29 April 2019 Posted 29 April 2019 What I will say is Tielemans will be better than Hazard and De Bruyne combined, the man is a phenomenon. Will be the first half a billion pound player after he's won the quadruple for us in 2 years time.

But every year there are players of that level playing in Belgium. We deliver better players than the Netherlands the last 10 years and we are 10 times cheaper than the Netherlands. Tielemans level: Yari Verschaeren (17, AM, Anderlecht), Zinho Vanheusden (19, CB, Standard De Liège (on loan from Inter Milan, can leave there)). Both are giants, and Leicester is a perfect next step for both. But maybe Verschaeren needs one more year in Anderlecht to show he can still do it when every opponent puts a player on him. And Vanheusden has big competition in Maguire and Söyüncü, but I think he will be in the team, he is extremely good. If Leicester doesn't consider those 2 players, they don't scout well enough. Just a tip guys Two players. That’s cute. We bought a whole Belgian club.
