No other striker in our budget will have any impact, in this team. No through balls, no dynamic interplay.

If we play the right way, he is lethal. Still plenty left in Vardy.

Sadly, I don't think there is. At absolute best, he would be a luxury that we would have to nurse through the season minutes-wise. And on those wages it is a luxury we cannot afford.

Personally not sure how you can put a message out like that if you know you’re going to play under the same manager in training tomorrow. He must be gone?

Not unheard of for Vards to undermine a manager TBF.

Not that I care. Ruud's a fvcking plum and Vardy can do what he wants.

He’s looked hurt all season. It’s a disgrace the club have allowed such a legend to endure such a shit season. I’ve got a feeling now we’re down, Vards will say one or two choice things around Seagrave and I’m of the impression they won’t offer him a new deal because of it.

Sorry but no matter his status, his performances under Ruud have been awful. Little service and bad performances around him of course give him little chance to do much, but there's been far too many games where he's just stood there pointing at other people to do stuff whilst jogging around. Hasn't been able to lead from the front and certainly hasn't shown any other leadership qualities to justify being captain.

Absolute legend and these relegations don't tarnish that, but he has been one of the biggest problems this year and as impassioned as that message may be, it also sounds a bit like he's blaming others. A sad day when he goes but it's absolutely essential that he does. Both from a footballing perspective but also because it severs ties with what was the old regime

If you need reminding, we haven’t scored at home this year lol there can surely be literally no chance RVN is our manager next season.

Yeah I’m talking about tomorrow though. How do you turn up for work when a club legend says that. There’s literally no point lol

I’ve tweeted it but imagine Vards sitting there in the changing rooms looking next to him where Big Wes used to sit and seeing Jordan ******g Ayew

Looking across and seeing Wout Faes in Riyad’s old seat & Soumare in Ngolo’s

He must be spewing!

He's 38 and played the most minutes for us this season behind Justin. This as far as I'm aware, is a record for an outfield player. Its hard to criticise him already but really it's not fair considering what he's been asked to do at his age in this shocking team.

He's supposed to make the odd start and be an impact sub. Massively mismanaged by Ruud and Cooper. Still managed the 19th highest xG which is impressive.

He has started 31 games this season, he has scored over 25% of our goals and been involved in 10 of our 27 goals scored in the premier league and all this from a 38 year old, fecking criminal he is being dragged down by this fecking shit show of a season.

Daka and Eduaord should hang their heads in shame that neither have offered any credible challenge to his starting berth, Cooper and RVN an utter disgrace in both criminally over using him at this stage of his career.

And finally Jon Rudkin and the recruitment team for not identifying a credible front man to come in and take some of the  workload burden and goal scoring pressure off Vards.

For a 38 year old, 7 goals and 3 assists in a relegated team who have scored 27 is a decent return, as I have said he is far from the problem or cause of our issues this season.
