I'm not normally arsed what football pundits and the wider media say about us but I genuinely pray that Vardy's in the discussions when they talk about Premier league greats.

It's good that Ian Wright came into the game late and recognises what Vardy has done.

 

Wright is an Arsenal legend. Arsenal. The team that won almost everything...Vardy beats Wright on pretty much everything.

 

Admittedly, different times, but good that an ex pro, who was that good, knows it.

Vardy's an icon at all the clubs he's played for. Owen is disliked or pretty much forgotten at all of his.

I've got 3 step-kids who look up to me and ask for advice on life.

 

Jamie Vardy is my idol.

 

Instead of giving the kids lengthy time and advice after listening to them, I'm just considering saying..."You need to live your life by 4 words, they will never let you down in any situation...Chat shit get banged"
