BenTheFox Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 We talk about wanting to break the so called top 6. I'm just interested as to which of our players you think would get into the starting line-ups of Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United. I reckon: Liverpool: Tielemans (maybe) Man City: None Tottenham: Ricardo, Tielemans, Chilwell (maybe) Arsenal: Ricardo, Maguire, Chilwell, Tielemans, Maddison (maybe) Chelsea: Ricardo, Chilwell, Tielemans, Maddison, Vardy. Man United: Ricardo, Maguire, Chilwell, Ndidi, Tielemans. Thoughts?
Nickfosse Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Think Chilwell would get a game a Manchester City with the problems they have at left back.
HybridFox Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Vardy, Schmeichel, Tielemans, Chilwell and Maguire based on current ability and stature. Hopefully many more will also be of that standard in years to come.
brucey Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Shhhhhh. We were doing a great job of hiding Ricardo.

UniFox21 Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Can we class Mahrez at Man City given they spent 65mill on him?
Sunbury Fox Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 A few further thoughts: I reckon Wilf is better than any of the CDMs at Arsenal. Vardy is a better striker than Lukaku so I think he would start at Man U, assuming Rashford played wide. Maguire would get in the Chelsea team. Also think Ricardo might well get a game at Man City.

Amazes me that the big teams here and in Spain overlooked him. Okay, he's not the best defensively but in a top team dominating possession he'd be devastating. To think that Man U bought Dalot instead - for more money!?
murphy Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 I think Vardy would get into every top 6 six team except Spurs. He'd bag bazillions for Liverpool.

LinekersApples Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Only one has a buy-back clause with one of the big six

He's only three goals behind Aguero this season playing for us and in a system that didn't suit him under Puel for most of the season. I think he'd be deadly for Man City and probably be rotated but get plenty of game time. Just my opinion.
brucey Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 3 minutes ago, LinekersApples said: Only one has a buy-back clause with one of the big six Nacho is just holding himself back at the moment to avoid them triggering the buy back clause. The very moment it expires, he’s gonna become a massive star and take over from a 34 year old Vardy. All part of the long term plan.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Liverpool: Tielemans (maybe), Ricardo (maybe) Man City: Chilwell Tottenham: Ricardo, Tielemans,Ndidi, Chilwell (maybe), Vardy (if you're talking currently, what an attack son and vards would be btw) Arsenal: Ricardo, Maguire, Evans, Chilwell, Tielemans, Maddison Chelsea: Kasper, Ricardo,Maguire Chilwell, Tielemans, Maddison, Vardy. Man United: Ricardo, Maguire, Evans, Chilwell, Ndidi, Tielemans.

Or that Vardy and Maddison are better than Lukaku and Lingard? I do!

I'd say Lingard over Maddison because of their system, I don't really rate Maddison out wide and Lingard is underrated imo
HybridFox Posted 22 April 2019 Posted 22 April 2019 Wes Morgan's had more Premier League goals than Olivier Giroud this season. What a bloody stat
Cheesemaker22 Posted 22 April 2019 Posted 22 April 2019 Man City: Chilwell, Ricardo Liverpool: Tielemans Spurs: Ricardo, Chilwell, Ndidi, Tielemans Arsenal: Chilwell, Evans, Ricardo, Ndidi, Maddison, Tielemans Chelsea: Vardy, Maddison, Chilwell, Ricardo Man U: Ndidi, Tielemans, Ricardo, Chilwell, Evans
Aus Fox Posted 22 April 2019 Posted 22 April 2019 A combined Man Utd Leicester team would have as many Leicester players as Untied: De Gea Ricardo Evans Maguire Chilwell Pogba Tielemans Matic Rashford Vardy Martial

Wasn't it like 8 million

We offered about double more in wages and made our interest real whilst they idled
