Couldn't spot any threads so apologies if old news. He was mentioned in an article about Pascanu in the merc. He's our new loans manager for the development squad and wondered if anyone new more about him? Personally I would love to see more of our youth getting loaned out and getting some proper match experience. No disrespect to our academy as they do a fine job but "football proper" plays a huge part in their development imo.

Think he messed his hand up once putting it through a window following a red card.

Does the loans manager have any say who is loaned, or just manages the players once they're loaned out?

I've never known who makes the decision to loan a player out.

Decent bloke who knows his way round the lower leagues which in this role is useful

He doesn't decide who or where the players go he just looks after things once they are there and reports on their progress ( or lack of it )

He was a walking red card as a player.

Completely irrelevant in the context of his role but there you go.

Apparently sent off 3 times and booked 40 times in a 165 game career (First Team) with 12 different clubs.

Not a bad word to say about the lad, sound to have a chat with when he was out and about and anybody that used to frequent Pulse nightclub in Loughborough back in the day will probably know why he could barely walk onto a football pitch on a Saturday ??

You've given yourself away now Wayne!

Not Wayne haha. My old man used to train him before he signed at City then used to help him out for a bit of extra cash. Cant imagine any youth players doing that nowadays.
