I thought he was worth the relatively low fee and that he'd arguably deal better in the prem than the champ.  Alas, twas not meant to be.

Ex Manager. Just listening to Pleaty plugging his autobiography  discussing his alleged whoremongering. 

 

I always thought it was a given. Bang to rights. But maybe it wasn't...Pleat sounded quite convincing in his story;  basically reeling from his arrest and then a fabricated story from a hooker and, being in an emotional mess, just went along with Spurs forcing him out. 

 

Can't imagine there's much in his book on us. Disastrous, arrogant manager for us

I honestly think there is more to it.

Something to do with us agreeing to let them take Enzo and an agreement about our FFP. Enzo must have known he is not of the level required for the top half of the PL

nah, there's something else. Enzo wanted to go, we held out for £10m compo, we weren't getting much more, I can't see them gifting us £30m, and I can't see Golding was anything to do with it, he was a top prospect with them

Having a quick flick through on those players that downed tools and relegated us in 2022/23 and then swanned off. 

 

Castagne - on the bench at Fulham

Evans - butt of the jokes at Man United 

Soyuncu - didn't do great at Atletico and gone back to Turkey

Amartey - doesn't play, climbing out toilet windows to avoid transfers 

Youri - doing well

Maddison - hit and miss at Spurs, usual criticism of him ghosting as soon as it gets tough

Barnes - neither here nor there at Newcastle, doesn't seem to have kicked on

Perez - somehow having the best time of his career 

 

Only really Perez that has definitely kicked on, Youri, Maddison and Barnes subjective and the rest definitely not. Maybe they weren't as good as we all thought?

Actually Amertey didnt climb to toilet but seriously he had missed the plane intentionly to Katar I think, when the superiors of the BJK had gone to the facilities for hım, he run by the beckyard door and hadnt seen until his agent take a good money from BJK for  contract termination🤣🤣

Over 24 hours ago now but Mark Robins sacked at Cov. Deserved a bit more loyalty after everything he gave them imho. A know a few Cov fans and they're gutted he's gone, they felt he very much still had the players behind him.
