Lennon is his mate so he’s not been criticising him at all and blaming the board for everything, they are indeed the ones who shoulder most of the responsibility but it smacks of double standards given the abuse he gave Deila and Rodgers at every opportunity. Cluj the other night and Lennon’s insane team selection were far worse than anything under Deila and Rodgers in Europe.

That said, as fans we have the right to our opinions and what Sutton thinks and says privately is one thing but FFS he is supposed to be a pundit and therefore impartial to a certain degree. Yes Lineker, Shearer and Wright etc wear their colours on their sleeves (and with pride) and often engage in banter on MOTD but they do not slag off other teams out of sheer badness or jealousy.  Part of TV/radio presenters job is to play devils advocate sometimes and to be controversial to promote discussion but his seeming crusade against us is unprofessional. time for him to go

Now the annoying little brat (Chris Sutton) has started up again over Andy King going on loan to Rangers, say its war between Celtic and Leicester but Rogers in particular.

 

I can't believe anyone in the media would should be allowed in this day and age to whip up hatred like this! If you or I did it we would have the authorities onto us like a ton of bricks.

I feel that this guy has not got a chip on his shoulder it’s the fringing Grand Canyon.

Not seen what he has actually said but I am presuming something along the lines of BR allowing King to go to Rangers being akin to treason?

If rangers came in for Kingy and BR had blocked it, knowing that he would not feature much for city and this was a great opportunity to resurrect his career, simply because he was a Celtic man and did not want to strengthen rivals, then that would have been more intolerable and certainly not the way to treat a loyal servant of our club.  That is not the sort of thing that I would ever want to see from our club. So well done Brendan and Sutton should just do one.

His own thread with eight pages on a Leicester City forum, frequently bumped to page one.  You all are staying tuned in and you clearly give a damn what he says.  The man is good at his work.

 

Maybe an equally distasteful job, but pays better than the other version of shoveling shit.
