jockkkk Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 Hi everyone, I was chuckling to myself again today about Tottenham's capitulation against Chelsea that magical night in 2016 and it dawned on me that I didn't watch the game properly that night. I live in Leeds and sonic booms knocked the sky off during extra time but I'd love to actually watch it all over again. I have looked for torrents etc and had no luck. Does anyone know where a recording of the match might be? Thanks Siobhan

Gerard Posted 26 September 2019 Posted 26 September 2019 My favourite part about that match apart from the Hazard goal was when at 2-2 and about one minute left of injury time Chelsea get a free kick in a dangerous position. Instead of trying to win the match in a game that was meaningless to them they played it into the corner to waste time and to stop Tottenham having a chance to win. I've just googled it and remembered what a great game it was and how dirty it was. 3 mins in when Willian is pointing to his PL winners badge. No football on here, just all the dirty stuff.

Willian shithousing that free kick to make sure Tottenham not win the PL was more important than Chelsea winning the match.

That montage has brought it all back. it was like a war zone, at one point we were actually discussing how many players could get sent off before the game had to be abandoned, and wondering if this was a deliberate tactic by the spurs players. How some of the Chelsea players manged to get off the pitch without the aid of a few stretchers is a miracle. Possibly one of the greatest all time on field meltdowns of any team sport. It just made the whole night even sweeter seeing them totally disintegrate in front of our eyes. .

Those Chelsea players out there that night will always get a huge chunk of gratitude from me, I know they were doing it out of the rivalry with Spurs more than anything but the shithousery was phenomenal.
